Explore over 60 Keepers on Parade sculptures

One of the most visited and photographed attractions in Wichita is the Keeper of the Plains. This breathtaking, 44-foot-tall sculpture is beautiful by day or night. This original work by Blackbear Bosin inspired the creation of smaller versions called Keepers on Parade. These 10-foot-tall sculptures are scattered throughout Wichita with 14 in downtown Wichita.

More than 60 Keepers are on display, showcasing Native American history and culture. Some Keepers on Parade names and locations include Keeper of a Brighter Future by Michella Tripoli at the Advanced Learning Library, Grow and Flourish by Delilah Reed at Clifton Square and Keeper of a World Transformed by Grace Shively at INTRUST Bank Arena. Other popular spots with Keepers on Parade sculptures are B-29 Doc Hangar, Bradley Fair and Sedgwick County Zoo.
