User-friendly and enjoyable to operate, the GoCar uses GPS (Global Positioning System) for guidance. This ensures that the car always knows your location, even if you don’t. The GPS provides directions, informs you about your surroundings, and tolerantly waits when you stop. If you switch off your car, the tour resumes from where you left it when you start again.

Note: Renters should be aged 21 or above. A major credit card and a valid driving license are required (an international license is not needed). Please note GoCars don’t cater for children’s car seats.
- This tour operate in the rain so please check the weather conditions an dress accordantly. The company provides ponchos.
- minimum age for the GoCar the rule is any children under 7 years are not legally permitted to ride on it. Children from 7 to 12 years old or with a minimum of 1,35cm (4.42 feet) must be accompanied by an adult and cannot drive the vehicl
- Copies of documents or provisional licenses will not be admissible.
- For all GoCar Rentals a deposit of 100€ is required per GoCar (via credit card). A valid ID is also required.
- All riders must sign a Standard Participant Agreement. Renters will have the option to purchase Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) insurance on the day of rental (10.00€ per GoCar).
- Children 6 years old and under are not legally allowed to ride on a GoCar. Is mandatory to sign a Term of Responsibility for children up to 13 years old.
- GoCars do not accommodate car seats for children.

Fun way to see Porto! - So much fun! We loved navigating the city this way!! Got lost a few times, but the GPS helped a lot!!!

Pedro’s 10 star review of Bike Tour of Porto - 10 out of 5. Pedro was wonderfully charming, informative, and so responsive to our needs despite all the technical issues that was not his fault. Highly recommended!!! We loved all the history and architectural information which was his major in college.

This was a blast !! - Surprised hubby with this and we had a great time driving around Porto and around the river! So much fun and locals and tourists were waving and taking pictures of us LOL :)

Vroom... - Liked the idea and the price was reasonable. The radio was a bit hard to hear the commentary. Car went fast enough! Was a bit bumpy on some of the cobblestone reads in the city center. Overall I enjoyed it, but probably wouldn't do it again..

Great fun for a few hours - 2nd time we have done these. 1st time was in Lisbon. Great fun again and a great way to see the city of Porto.
Only down side is there are so many road closures due to road works so you couldn’t follow the guided tour and also we were unable to hear the commentary on the stereo as volume wouldn’t go loud enough but all in all great fun and value for money

Fun Day to See the city but don't expert to Learn about Porto - This was a fun thing to do in Porto but do not expert to learn much. You are focused on driving and following the GPS that it is hard to focus on the audio. Also with all the cars and driving noises it was hard to hear what the audio was saying.
There was construction while we were there so we had to go off the GPS guide and figure out how to get back on it ourselves from the map. We are not sure how many 'stops' we missed.
That being said, it was definitely fun to drive around town and see the sites. It was also nice because we got to drive along the river all the way out to the bay which we wouldn't have seen otherwise. If you are looking for a fun activity to add to your other tours this is fun!

GoCar Tour, do NOT bother!!! - This experience deserves a label of TOURIST TRAP! After 4h in this LOUD wreck we can’t help ourselves but to feel used.
Guys at the rental location are candid and provide an excellent customer service, but what they forget to mention, is an unpleasant feeling you will get after using their GoCars.
We rented the “scooter 50” engine, which prevented us from being able to hear anything else than desperate and, quite frankly, embracing noise throughout our whole journey.
It’s a dangerous vehicle with max 25km/h speed going uphill, and Porto is all about hills.
The “guiding system” comes out of a speaker, which you can’t hear, and there are no headsets.
The application crashed on us, and suddenly, we had an access to the whole system. (Excel, word, PPT, gallery…)
They also charged us 20€ extra, in comparison to what they promote on this app.
Not fun …. Not safe … and… a shame.
And the deposit of 100€ is exaggerated. This whole thing is worth of only disappointment.

Mixed Bag: Go Car GPS Self-Guided Tour - Our family did not enjoy the Go Car GPS self-guided tour. The GPS audio was loud and unclear, lacking historical information. There were no designated stops for photos. Save your money and choose a more fulfilling alternative.
