Your usual unissex clean floral white musk. Love it for what it is and it's a good price particularly if you buy it in Brazil. Good layering fragrance as clean musks usually are.

It is an honest fragrance insofar as it is not difficult to dissect its notes - citrus, floral, white musks and ozonic notes.

A description by analogies would result in a light version of Cool Water and CK One, without the marked marine notes of the former or the spices of the latter.

It is a fragrance suitable for summer because it is light. This is largely the reason for its appeal.

😕 Fiquei decepcionada com a fixação, o cheiro evapora muito rápido.

kind of run of the mill soap / laundry / smell that is supposed to smell clean but smells powdery, thick, and gray.

It’s pleasant. It smells like a handmade fine soap. It’s clean and relaxing. More masculine than feminine, in my opinion. It’s well done and natural smelling.

When I smelled this, it instantly reminded me of Ck One. Well, after some wears, I can definitely say this is way more than just a CK One type fragrance. It is way more nuanced and complex. This is very good scent for the price! From the brazilian niche house of Granado, which is the most creative fragrance brand from Brazil. While other brazilian fragrance houses copies from international designer brands, Granado launches an amazing juices like this one for very cheap (100 BRL, about 20 USD).
Bergamot is a key player here, and it is very present in the opening, in a very citric vibe. No sweetness here. I can also detect right from the start a powdery, but yet paradoxically creamy sandalwood. Smells dated, but not in a out of fashion way. This is vintage stuff. Imagine if Prada made CK One, this is what it would smell like. Very chic smelling, like an expansive perfume powder from the past used by rich women in the past. But this is not floral at all, like my powder association might sugest. This is very much a citrus scent, but with a powdery sandalwood base. I like how this one smells, but i do not love it. It feels a little lifeless, could use a bit of sweetness on this one. I think mandarine orange or rose would go nicely with this one.
It is very inoffensive smelling, but not necessarily a mass pleaser. If CK One and Carioca were brother, Carioca would be living in a nicer house, with nicer clothes and nicer cars, but would be sad inside.
If you have seen the movie Downsizing (2017), in which the main character is downsized and lives a luxurious life, but is sad inside, this it what it smells like. Watch it btw, it is a great movie.
Ok longevity, about 6 hours, moderate projection. I used it when I shouldn't use fragrances, as it is very mild.
Try it though, you might like it.

A nice modern (but not avant-gardistic) chypre that summarizes the aura of Rio de Janeiro. The soap and the body lotion smell quite similar to CK One. The eau de toilette itself has more incense and some oakmoss. A step out of the shower kind of fragrance. There is also a reminiscence of a palm-tree essence, somewhere. Which actually brings me images from the astonishingly beautiful Botanical Gardens of Rio. Definitely, good for an olfactive and visual souvenir of the (idealized) city.

Very powdery and comfortable. I would say this is unisex, why not? But very soft and fresh. Weak staying power, though.

Carioca is very powdery and flowery with a hint of musk and sandalwood.
It is sold as a unissex fragrance, but there's nothing unissex in it. It's very feminine and it smells dated.
It reminds me a lot of those ladies' face powder from the late 80s and early 90s.
I'd say if you're a woman and you're over 30 you can safely wear it during spring and summer.
