With a new database, it is now easy to insert Hasco components into the CAD models. The Hasco NX library offers easy drag and drop functionality.

Conventional data from the manufacturers of standard components are no longer parametric due to the neutral interface. The Hasco system gets round this situation through data packages that are directly tailored to the CAD system.

Through its continual development work, Hasco repeatedly opens up new options for designers engaged in mouldmaking, boosting the efficiency and the quality of their work.

The focus here is on the development of readily applicable, practically-oriented solutions. In its development work, Hasco engages in a close dialogue with the designers. At the globally organised Designer Days, for example, new requirements are taken up, under the motto of "Attaining the goal with the customer", and included in the development of product and service innovations.

One current example is the new Hasco NX library which, as a native database, is precisely tailored to the requirements of the Siemens NX CAD system. Using this innovative tool, designers can readily incorporate Hasco standard components in their design as CAD models by means of drag and drop.

With extensive input from Hasco's longstanding partner, the Radtke design office, the library has been built up on the basis of the newly compiled design drawings. The Hasco NX library is available to all customers to download from its website and is subject to continual further development. The Radtke design office based in Espelkamp/Germany has worked with its own reuse libraries for many years and played a key role in contributing ideas for Hasco's implementation of its standard components in a database of its own. "More time for other things" is the slogan that sets out the central advantages of the NX native database for design.

Parametric data have a central advantage in design. They are much faster to use than step data in the desired design. No external software or web portals have to be called up for this native data. The data can be easily stored in the system and incorporated in the design with just two clicks. Size changes of the standard components can be performed much faster and easier than with conventional step data. The database is kept up to date by Hasco. This guarantees that extensions and modifications to the product range will be reliably communicated in the context of the continuous updates. In addition to the NX library, the native database has now been published in the CATIA system.
