At the Chile Pavilion, get a delicious taste of its agricultural bounty while exploring the country’s diverse peoples and landscapes. With a design inspired by traditional Chilean architecture, the pavilion offers a market-style retail area, as well as an alley of high-definition screens that showcase Chile’s natural wonders, sustainable tourism destinations and more. Venture deeper inside to find the sampling area, where you can taste the some of the country’s amazing produce.

The Chile pavilion modern structure, as fresh and vibrant as the gourmet selection of Chilean fruits that await inside, is embellished with wide windows and a bright white sloping roof. The patterns, colors and textures used are guided by the natural barriers that protect the country; deserts, ocean, mountains and the glaciers.

For thousands of years, Angola’s Chokwe people have preserved their cultural wisdom through looping Sona drawings, in which special symbols are sketched into the sand and passed down through generations. The Angola Pavilion at Expo 2020 pays homage to this ancient tradition of knowledge sharing, connecting it with the nation’s emerging innovation industry.

The Fijian word “bula” is a versatile term that conjures a friendly spirit of happiness and good fortune. At the Fiji Pavilion, you can learn this island paradise’s blissful secrets on a tour of its seven steps to becoming a “bulannaire” – one who is rich in happiness.

The pavilion’s wealth of exhibits include relaxing tropical hammocks and gorgeous views of Fiji, but it’s not all smiles: the low-lying archipelago is already threatened by climate change, through rising sea levels and dying coral reefs. Journey through a “sunken island”, where you can learn about the nation’s looming challenges and its inspiring climate leadership.

After cresting the spectacular summit, you’ll reach an enchanting city of opportunities where you can explore Swiss innovation, take in traditional performances and sample mouth-watering Swiss chocolate.

The Switzerland Pavilion's bold, funnel-shaped mirror façade reflects the ground in front of the pavilion: a massive red carpet decorated with a white Swiss cross. The polygonal mirror panels converge at a  doorway in the lower left of the building, crafted from scaffolding and textiles inspired by Bedouin tents.

The Lebanese people have long shown how their deep-rooted culture and extroverted warmth flourish under any conditions. A nation of crossroads, where East meets West, Christianity meets Islam, and tradition meets the cosmopolitan, the Lebanon Pavilion celebrates this Mediterranean nation’s heritage of perseverance, determination and resourcefulness. Visit technology-based “islands” devoted to ancient seafaring Phoenicians, modern-day entrepreneurs and scientists. Experience traditional Lebanese folk music or sample delicious Lebanese cuisine. You may even find yourself in the middle of a flash mob!

The Lebanon Pavilion is a low-slung, L-shaped building with a broad wall of windows on its short, curving, front face. The structure is wrapped in horizontal bands of lightly-coloured material, creating a unique striped look.
