Update :

I did end up going to this restaurant multiple times & loved the experience!

I had a Dr.s apt & end up here because In the morning I had a final & didn't get a chance to eat anything until now. Before my apt I had some time so I said let's try it out.

From outside I wasn't sure if I can find any vegetarian items to try out. Obviously this is not a halal restaurant. But they actually had couple of vegetarian items & seafood !

When I went inside I was surprised, the interior is pretty nice. Restaurant looks clean & loved the vibe of everything. They also have a nice looking huge bar. I don't drink but I had to pass it on my way to the restroom. The restroom needs little work, doesn't match with the restaurant's look. That's one reason I gave this place 4 stars.

I ordered mozzarella sticks, strawberry lemonade & vegetarian melt. With good portions & great taste I enjoyed my food .

The stuff were wonderful & knowledgeable about the menu & the taste. That's always a plus while trying out new restaurants.

Now comes the price, for all I have ordered the bill came out almost 40$ . As a student like me can I effort this on a regular basis? NO! For me it was little costly but I am sure for others price isn't a matter.

I was too full to try their coffee, next time Ofcource.

Nice diner with a parking lot. Food was good and flavorful. Waitress was friendly and attentive. We ordered from the breakfast menu, pricey but overall decent diner.

There arent many good breakfast/diners on Staten Island that are of good quality. Used to like this place because of the vibe, the specials and the food was decent. After a while-they struggled with grades of B & C -which is completely unacceptable. So we stopped coming for years. Visited again on Sunday. Prices were INSANE. what you pay for one egg, you can buy a carton of eggs. Haha. The food is sooo mediocre. Plates come dirty. Had breakfast potatoes and it was like mush. No flavor. I ate my toast because that was honestly the only thing that tasted good. Visited on a Sunday afternoon and the place was empty-I guess I know why.
Definitely wont be back.

All I wanted was a chicken salad sandwich. It was so dry & tasteless. The only edible thing was the hard roll (hence 1star). Hubby had chicken fajitas; the chicken was also dry & tasteless. We should have sent our food back. I don't know if there are new owners but it's become very expensive & not worth it.

Nice ambiance but servers need training in their job. Little messy inside restaurant. My lobster busy was good. Cappuccino was not properly prepared.

Z-One USED to be great. It USED to be a decent spot. Now it's just a littered parking lot with subpar service and nonexistent staff to take your orders. I really should have listened to the Yelp reviews about this place.

The parking lot was littered with trash, and our waiter basically said that while it's true it's all trash from the restaurant, they are told by management to leave it. So already I'm weirded out that the restaurant actually INSTRUCTS the waitstaff to keep the dining area dirty and unsanitary.

Our waiter took so long to come to us. It took us so long in fact, we had to request a table inside so that we could actually be heard and get some food. It was bizarre, why did I have to do that just to get service?

The manager Mike conveyed his lack of care perfectly well when we inquired about the litter. It was actually quite magical, the way he shrugged it off to showcase his lack of care.

Food was ok. It was like any other diner food. However, the food was overshadowed by the intensely bad customer service. Which is a bummer for sure. Really can't believe they are like this now.

What happened Z One ? This place used to be good. Are there new owners ?

Service was terrible, manager was laying down on a bench when we walked in did t even acknowledge us. Hostess acted like she was doing us a favor, didn't even say thank you when we paid the bill. Practically through the change at me.

Food was not good at all. Hamburger was cold on a soggy bun Never had this problem at zone before although it has been about a year since I've been here. It was pleasant to come here in the past. Will not be back !!!!

I've been coming here a few years for breakfast......it was the ONLY one that offered Specials after Covid. $11.95 was a pretty good deal until my last visit....It went up to $15.95 for an omelet. I usually add cheese to the western and now its a extra $2.50 .......The breakfast is fine but NOT worth almost $20 with tax....What kind of a special is that????
It probably costs them maybe 5-6 dollars in ingredients , taking advantage like that is un called for...

What a terrible establishment! Employees were rude, nasty, and unprofessional. The food was not worth the value. There were wear and tears on the flooring, seating, walls, and restaurant as a whole. Z-two feels like a safety hazard in of its own. I would never go here again.

Not much to say, came here with my family and the menu was nothing but absolute garbage, everything and I mean everything is $22 and up not finding a meal for less then that, I don't know what is wrong with them but they are a mediocre diner, their food is frozen never cooked fresh, they have nerve to charge that much for this type of food, INSANE. Take you're buisness elsewhere.
