President & Chief Financial Officer

Job Description

As President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of CAIS, Tim Shannon is responsible for firm management and business development. Tim oversees and leads the following areas: Finance, Strategy, Human Resources, Legal & Compliance, Operations, and Board of Director relationship management. Tim is responsible for forecasting the organization's financial standing based on financial and operational data and reports provided by the finance and accounting teams and advising the CEO and board on strategic direction. He focuses on long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies routinely exercising discretion and independent judgment in the performance of job duties. He works hand in hand with the CEO, and is accountable for the overall programmatic and fiscal integrity of the organization.
