Mozambique, Quelimane. A view of Quelimane from the top of the Hotel Chuabo on Avenida Samora Machel. The river is the Qua Qua which has a direct link to the Zambezi. Quelimane is Mozambique's fourth largest town , with a population of around 150 000. It was founded on the north bank of the Qua-Qua river after it was linked to the Zambezi by a channel that emerged by modern day Mopeia.
