Christian Alliance International School (CAIS) continues to grow the minds of its students, as it expands the campus and further diversifies its program of studies and extracurricular activities.

Global Education

CAIS is a non-profit, international school of 1,500+ students representing more than 25 nationalities based in Hong Kong. It is committed to holistic development through academics, spiritual life, athletics and the arts, providing a uniquely transformative educational experience for children aged from 5 to 17.

A through-train school, founded by the Kowloon Tong Church of the Chinese Christian and Missionary Alliance (KTAC), CAIS welcomes students of all backgrounds to its preparatory, lower and upper primary and secondary sections – all housed in an amazing campus that provides state-of-the-art spaces from classrooms to fun play areas.

The new Phase IIA Amenities Building will be joining the Academic Building to deliver even more options for CAIS students to achieve their aspirations and pursue all-round excellence. The highly qualified teachers from across the globe are dedicated to come alongside students to guide and inspire them to know themselves and forge their own paths.

Rooted in Hong Kong

Whether students and their families are based in Hong Kong long term or just for a season, they can find a place at CAIS for an international education with strong regional interests. CAIS offers a strong Chinese Studies Program for students to learn the traditions and culture that is typical of Hong Kong alongside the language (dual script). French and Spanish are also a part of the World Languages Program.

CAIS is authorized as an IB World School, offering the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), with a choice for students to select the Bilingual Diploma (English and Chinese). The school is also accredited to deliver the Alberta (Canada) Curriculum from Preparatory to Grade 12 and offers Advanced Placement (AP) courses – three gateways to graduation and the world stage.

A Place to Belong

CAIS creates a sense of belonging in school that extend beyond the confines of four walls. Students at CAIS grow to maturity and graduate to various career paths with a heart to serve the Hong Kong community and the world, having experienced Christian love and care at the school. CAIS is a school where the students can grow together yet still be their own persons, with their different personalities and interests.

In the past few years, the CAIS learning community has grown in size and becoming even stronger, with deepening partnerships between parents, students and teachers. Head of School, New Zealander, Richard Vanderpyl, says: “In New Zealand, the Maori people have a beautiful expression, Turangawaewae, which means a place to stand. It speaks of being able to say, ‘In this place I belong’. At Christian Alliance International School, it is our heart’s desire for every student to be able to say, ‘CAIS is my Turangawaewae. I feel that I belong here.’”
