Syracuse, N.Y. — Without his pads and wearing a pair of Crocs, Syracuse football’s Carlos Del Rio-Wilson made his way back to the field behind Ensley Athletic Center to speak with media following the 10th session of spring ball.
The quarterback had managed to slip away right when practice ended, disappearing in a crowd of his teammates heading back to the locker room. It was the first day interviews were conducted outside where the players aren’t funneled through two set of double doors to leave practice.
