Tawny Anarquia

Made from the Iberian grapes Touriga Nacional, Tinto Cao, and Tempranillo, it is a full-bodied, sweet version of the classic after-dinner chocolate or cigar wine.   After partial fermentation the wine was aged in oak barrels for ten years.  Over time it has slowly oxidized, protected by it’s alcohol content.  The color changes from deep ruby to brick tawny, and it picks up beautiful notes of almond and ripe berries.
