FREEDOM, FOREVER. HAPPY 77 TO INDEPENDENT INDIA. In these times, it is crucial to uphold the rights and dignity of every individual as enshrined in the Constitution. As an Indian, I feel a sense of pride, and I hope that all my fellow citizens can share this sentiment and see our nation as a beacon of hope, despite our diverse backgrounds. Let us cherish our shared values and work together towards a brighter future. Jai Hind. FREEDOM IS A STATE ( OF MIND) Freedom is a state of mind Unshackled and untethered Unleashed in full force No half measures Like Nature itself. A nation is an idea not a line in the sand A living and breathing idea Enshrined in its constitution An anthem and a flag An army to defend A country for its people A modern idea of identity In the form of passports But... A nation is not a mere state It is about a state of mind That represents freedom Unshackled and untethered Unleashed in full force. ~Ashok Subramanian (c) 2023 #indianindependence #india #india77 #freedom #freeindia

Today, as #India bathes in saffron, white and green hues of Republic Day, I can't help but hear the faint whispers of our 200-year-long freedom fight. In every beat of the marching drums, I see the resilience of millions who bled for this sacred tricolor. This day isn't just a military spectacle; it's a solemn reminder of the sacrifices paved on the road to becoming a free nation. But freedom, once won, needs nurturing and I truly believe that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for a "New India" echoes this very sentiment. His call for "Atmanirbhar Bharat" (self-reliant India) resonates with the spirit of those who defied an empire with nothing but grit and unity. The struggle for freedom wasn't just about throwing off colonial shackles; it was about building a nation on the pillars of democracy, equality, and progress. This vision is the torch every Indian carries, aiming to transform India from a developing nation to a global leader. Let this Republic Day be a clarion call, not just to celebrate past victories, but to embrace the ongoing struggle for a brighter future. A future where freedom isn't just a word, but a lived reality for every Indian. #RepublicDay #India #AtmanirbharBharat #pravasiIndian Pls do engage in the discussion! Share your thoughts on what India needs to do to truly become a developed nation. Piyush Goyal

The Quit India Movement, also known as the "Bharat Chodo Andolan," was a significant milestone in India's struggle for independence from British rule. Launched on August 8, 1942, by Mahatma Gandhi, this movement aimed to mobilize the Indian masses to demand an end to British colonial rule and establish a sovereign nation. The movement's slogan "Do or Die" reflected the determination of Indians to achieve their freedom at any cost. The Quit India Movement marked a turning point in India's fight for independence, as it intensified the pressure on the British government and played a crucial role in eventually leading to India's independence in 1947. Gandhi's call for nonviolent resistance and civil disobedience during the Quit India Movement galvanized millions of Indians to participate in protests, strikes, and demonstrations across the country. The British responded with a heavy-handed crackdown, leading to widespread arrests and violent clashes. Despite the challenges and repression faced by the participants, the Quit India Movement demonstrated the unwavering commitment of the Indian people towards achieving self-rule. This movement showcased the power of unity and civil resistance, eventually paving the way for the end of British colonial rule in India. #QuitIndiaMovement 🇮🇳 #BharatChodoAndolan #IndianIndependence #HistoricStruggle #FreedomFighters 🕊️ #GandhisLegacy #DoOrDie #NonviolentResistance #SovereignIndia 🇮🇳 #TurningPointInHistory #UnityForFreedom #BritishColonialRuleEnds 🎉 #ProudIndian 🇮🇳 #RememberingOurHeroes #India1942 #RespectForLeaders #PowerOfCivilResistance #SaluteToCourage #EndOfAnEra #InspirationalHistory
