Located in San Domingo de Bonaval convent, which dates back to the 17th-18th century, in its rooms, it exhibits a very extensive collection of items of popular Galician culture: Fishing, agriculture, stockbreeding, trades, homes, popular costumes, musical instruments or Prehistory. Another of its attractions is the spectacular triple helicoid stairway, a display of structural audacity and work of Domingo de Andrade, which links the cloister to the building’s different floors. Besides the museum, you can visit the church of the convent, which is occasionally used as a unique backdrop for certain temporary exhibitions. This church contains the Panteón de Galegos Ilustres, in which very famous personalities from Galician culture are buried, such as Rosalía de Castro, Alfredo Brañas, Castelao, Francisco Asorey and Ramón Cabanillas.
