The remains of the late Mrs. Agnes Ezimma Mkpume have been laid to rest at Nimo Njikoka Council Area.

At a Requiem Mass held for the deceased at the Assumption Catholic Church Nimo in Njikoka Local Government Area, Reverend Father Dennis Nwabueze, in his homily reminded Christians to be mindful of their life by living according to the teachings of Christ, which said the departed, lives.

Speaking after interment, one of the daughters of the deceased Mrs. Maureen-Stone Enujioke of the Anambra Broadcasting Service recalled the moments she shared with her late mother and described them as golden.

Other children of the deceased who spoke at the burial ceremony, including Mr. Nwabueze Mkpume and Mrs. Martina Onwuama noted that the deceased exemplified a lot of virtues such as humility, patience and love, as she also inculcated Godly principles on them.

Mr Obinna Orya, a relative and Mrs. Uche Nwakaeze, a family friend pointed out that the deceased left a legacy behind with her wonderful family life and disposition to all.

For the Director of News and Current Affairs Department of the Anambra Broadcasting Service, Mr. Gab Okpalaeze and that of Programmes Department, Mrs. Nneka Ekwunife the departed was a great woman and condoled with the family.

The late Mrs. Agnes Mkpume died at the age of seventy two.
