You need to communicate with your team, but you're not in the same location. What tools should you use?
I can't stress enough the importance of an effectively planned agenda when utilizing conference or video calling. Especially for topics requiring the input of multiple teams with multiple perspectives. It's also important to learn how the teams work together as you progress and adjust. Let's say you're working on a project and require feedback from internal stakeholders, you need to strike a balance between ensuring individuals feel heard & meeting objectives are addressed. With good structure you can help ensure all collaborators have the space to share and ensure focus returns to the objective. It's also helpful to provide a written summary of key points of discussion, any action items identified , and next steps.

How can you prioritize complaints to ensure the most urgent are addressed first?
I'm a big lover of a, b, c priority categorization matrixes. It's an easy tool to help me visualize and quickly identify how to handle a variety of tasks. It's also a great tool for customizing - do I need a high level of detail in a task & what's justifying my categorization? I can adjust my matrix categories to fit the need. But honestly, I use one every morning for a quick way to refresh myself on my daily tasks in a more meaningful view. It's an easy way to kick your to-do-list up a notch.

How can technical documentation be more accessible to diverse audiences?
It's important to approach documentation with accessibility in mind at the onset. It can't be an after thought. Research, be open to feedback, and seek out that feedback from those in the impacted communities. It's challenging to anticipate gaps in accessible content as someone outside the impacted groups - so it's important to continually seek their feedback and apply it. It's not necessarily a linear one and done exercise. It's also important to ensure users are provided opportunities to share their experiences.
