Ridged stem, rarely branched.

Habitat: meadows, pastures, roadsides and waste areas.

Flowers

The flowers are fragrant with white ray florets (about 20) and flat yellow disk florets.

Leaves

Lanceolate leaf is lance-shaped: long and widest in the middle. Basal: long, pointed, serrated, alternate on the stem, stalked.
