Description

Evergreen. The leaves are densely covered in white hairs, hence the name ‘albidus’, meaning white.

Grows on calcareous soils.

Flowers

The slightly crinkly flowers are cerise-pink with bright yellow stamens. They tend to drop their petals by late afternoon, after the heat of the day.
