Great company, great folks!

Algo has a TON of information and they train you step by step with videos and live, online groups. Everyone is seasoned, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful to take each new client to the finish line at their own pace. You cannot miss if you do the work. Very highly recommended. Great folks, great company. 👍

Ugh...I joined ALGO in late November 2023

I joined ALGO in late November 2023. I am a seasoned Amazon retailer that does over $5 million in annual sales. In speaking with Tim, I decided to take the course because I believed him that some of his students were doing $1MILLION PER MONTH in sales following his teachings. Once I started thru the program (including a 4-hour accelerator) I determined that the program was strictly for newbies. I kindly asked for a refund and was turned down because I had not gone thru all the videos. So am I supposed to waste more time going thru information that I already know! I posted on their Facebook group a reach out to anyone who was doing $100k in monthly sales and the post was never even approved...which was a big red flag to me. Then I learned from a support member that in order to generate $20k in profit I would need to invest over $100k in inventory. This was not what I was sold. Very bait-and-switch. Overpromising and under-delivering.

Hi Stephen, Sorry to hear you were not satisfied with the program. In reading this review and your communications with our support team there seems to be a lot of conflicting information which makes it more difficult for us to resolve issues.

We pride our selves on exceeding expectation and always delivering what we promise. In your case, it seems like you barely went through any of your program (basically you just watched some introductory course lessons) and then asked for a refund well past our 30-day refund window because you felt the training was not for you.

1. To start, you purchased our program in December and didn't ask for a refund until March which is well past our 30 day refund policy window (this is primarily why you were not approved for a refund).
2. You say that the program is strictly for "newbies" but our records show you completed less than 10% of the videos course (the beginning of which is all about showing new sellers how to get set up) and you attended our 4-hour live accelerate seminar that is designed to help new sellers accelerate from $0 to their first sale. So, if you are only are going to watch parts of our program designed for new sellers, then yes, it will feel like it is all for new sellers!
3. If you are doing $5M per year, we know there are topics in the course than can help you as they have helped many other 7-figure sellers (topics on suppliers, brands, business growth, and multi-channel) scale. Some of those lessons (and membership in our Sellers Club Facebook group- our Facebook group for advanced sellers) are only available to members of our Seller's Club. To access that material, you must verify your sales but you never verified your $5M sales numbers with us or joined the Sellers Club.
4. Your purchase also included access to support, double-checks, tradeshows, and more which based on our records you never used.
5. As a $5M Amazon seller, you would have to already have over $100k invested in inventory and with dozens of financing options out there for experienced Amazon Sellers (including half a dozen funders that specialize in Amazon Sellers specifically), we're not sure why the fact that you need to invest in inventory is a concern for you or is in any way a "bait and switch".

So, in short, it seems like you just watched a few introductory lessons a few months after purchasing the program and then asked for a refund well beyond our 30 day refund window. While we always appreciate and respect feedback, we find this review to be pretty disingenuous and contrived.

ALGO Delivers as Promised

ALGO is rare team of kind and decent individuals who you can trust to deliver as promised. They don’t hold anything back and go above and beyond what is expected. The support and assistance has been top notch from day one.

The ASD trade show & Algo summit was…

The ASD trade show & Algo summit was educational & motivational. It was awesome meeting so many suppliers & like minded Amazon sellers. Most important meeting the Algo Team in person and participated in the Scavenger hunt at the end was a nice touch. I won a $50 Amazon gift card for participating. Overall this was well worth my time and I would highly recommend attending the next event if you intend to scale your business.

The content on the training is…

The content on the training is wonderful!
The reasons why I’m not giving 5 stars reviews are:
1- FB group questions are not addressed by Algo representatives. This sometimes causes more confusion because the students keep wondering.
2- support team turnaround time to respond an email sometimes is longer than 48hrs.

1- We try to keep the Facebook Group as a place where community members can voice their opinions and experiences without our intervention. To do that, admins will usually not comment on a post of 48 hours and will then comment our official input through an admin/admin account after 48 hours. We will look into a way to better balance open conversations and admin input in the group.

2- We do our best to respond to all support emails within 24-hours (and often much faster). Currently, our average response time is 8 hours and 32 minutes. 96% of emails are answered within 24 hours (48% are answered within 4 hours) but about 4% of inquires require a bit more time to respond for various reasons. We are currently working hard to increase our response speed.

Excellent Mentor

ALGO Online Retail offers a class on how to get started selling the right way on Amazon.com. Besides the class, they offer ongoing support, since the process takes many steps and there are pitfalls along the way. The class is enough to build confidence and to get started. They also offer Facebook support groups and put together conference sessions, which are really helpful. If you are thinking about selling on Amazon, ALGO Online Retail is a great mentor to have!

Always very informative..

Always very informative... I think Bob and Tim are great hosts and compliment each other well. I particularly enjoyed the segment with Pete K. He is always a favorite. I will say though that a few of the presentations could be a be more enjoyable. Some of the material, although enlightening, can be a little mundane at times. But overall, I look forward to the next one and enjoy ever piece of information I get from the group. Thank you for your support.

Solid, actionable teaching & support

Solid, actionable teaching and support to help you get started in building a legitimate & credible Amazon business that can be scaled for future growth. This is not a "get rich quick" gimmick. It is solid training & support that MUST be paired with an investment of time and capital (money) on your part to succeed. It will shorten your growth curve and potentially save you from making disastrous mistakes you will surely encounter attempting to do this on your own.

Opportunity Knocks

A few weeks ago the company I worked for 6yrs decided to downsize my department. Fair price for selling my car without…

Fair price for selling my car without the hassle of trying to sell it privately. Daily text updates on progress. Scheduled pick up of vehicle by very nice company/driver. Phone assist was awesome in assisting with uploading documents that were required. I would definately use them again.

Deceptively selling membership/ Hiding true cost of doing this business.

The recruitment of members to take your training was a bit deceptive. Bob indicates that the cost of running this program will take $500 minimum. Then he is selling the training program for $997.00. So you must add the two together $997+$500=$1497. In effect, he should be telling you that the cost to run the program is $1497. He never distinguishes a difference between the two numbers that he is speaking about. I believe many of the listeners will be caught in the trap of not having enough money to ever start selling online because they spent their money on the training program.

Bob and the team do our best to explain what it takes to start selling on Amazon and YOU CAN start selling on Amazon with just $500 for inventory and basic tools. We do offer various programs that cost money but that is not related to the question of "how much money does one need to sell on Amazon?"

We try to be transparent as possible with the costs involved. $500 minimum for inventory is a realistic minimum. When answering this question, Bob also usually states that $500 is the minimum and $2,000 is more realistic.

Excellent course and great support from…

Excellent course and great support from ALGO, Bob and his team. I purchased the course and within 5 weeks I had completed the course, followed the steps for setting up my business,( LLC, EIN, resellers license, etc), then sourced product, listed thru Seller Central and was open for business, all within 5 weeks.
I could not have done it without ALGO's help and support. No reason to reinvent the wheel, learn from others who've been there, and done that.
Anyone can do it, but it requires some time, effort and desire.

Amazing ALGO!

The Summit on Feby 28th-March 1st gave be a huge boost! My initial excitement in starting my Amazon business was waning, however, this Summit lit a fire under my you know where. Bob's passion, his authenticity, his obvious love for his students and his desire to see us succeed were on full display. Tim's life's lessons will help us avoid mistakes on our journey, Mark delivered some real food for our souls with lessons on personal development, Pete, our in-house supplier with his knowledge on logistics is there to help jump start us, and with Bud’s financial knowledge and solutions, what more could a person ask for? This is a freaking powerhouse! This is the reason I chose ALGO over the thousands of Amazon startups out there. With this team behind me the only place to go is up and that's where I'm headed!

I am so glad I went with ALGO

I have been so impressed with each and every step along the way. The non-pressure sales, the extremely thorough online training system, and the responsiveness of the ALGO team to questions have been amazing. There are a lot of "Amazon Seller" training options but I am so glad I decided to go with ALGO.

The support I have received from algo…

The support I have received from algo in the time I've been affiliated with them which is about six months, has been tremendous. They've been very helpful whenever I ask questions they were able to help me get them resolved. Also they gave me a guidance on a particular order I was going to place. Great bunch of people that are very helpful and encourage members to make sound business decisions.

I'm finding out that there is a lot of…

I'm finding out that there is a lot of things that was not revealed to us when we purchased the program such as the different licencing and insurance and not to mention amazon's random rules and fees.We also need many tools.

We do our best to provide as much information as possible for free. This includes information about licensing, insurance, and tools. Licensing, insurance, and tools are all relatively simple and low cost (and in most cases no-cost) topics that we cover in greater detail in our paid programs.

Beware of the empty promises

Beware of the promises! There's no phone number so you can't call anyone for assistance. If you email, you get canned responses because no one really reads the emails. They make promises to help you step by step. They make promises to hook you up with a supplier to help with your first order and help get you get ungated but that person is not responsive. They are in the business making money selling memberships off the backs of people who can ill afford to spend money unwisely. You struggle through 20 hours of videos and when you've gathered enough money to make your first purchase, the supplier who is supposed to get you off to a great start is MIA. when you asked about it they tell you to just follow the instructions in their videos to find a different supplier.

We pride ourselves in providing all of the business owners in our program with world-class 24-hour email support answered by US-based team members that each sell on Amazon every single day.

Yes. We did share the contact info of one of our trusted suppliers with you. The Holiday season is the busiest for most suppliers so they are unlikely to quickly respond to new customers (especially if you don't follow up) as they are dealing with hundreds of clients every day trying to get product into their stores before Christmas.

We actually don't make much money off of selling our 20-hour programs. We do it to teach people how to profitably sell on Amazon so we can work with them in other capacities (funding partnerships, supplier sourcing, etc.) once they know how to run a successful Amazon business.

You didn't ask for help contacting this specific supplier. You asked for "suggestions of other suppliers" which is why one of our team members suggested you follow the instruction in 2 specific videos that describe the exact method that support person has used to find some of his best suppliers (those are his favorite proven methods and that is why he told you to look there).

In short, an Amazon expert has responded to all of your email questions within 24-hours with the best answers they had based on their understanding of your questions. We also reached out to you this morning to try to help you connect with the supplier we introduced you to.

Again, sorry that you feel like our support team let you down and we will do our best to help you succeed from here :)
