It appears as though Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik have broken up again.

Per reports from E! and Us Weekly, the on-again, off-again couple have seemingly decided to end their relationship after getting back together in the summer of 2018. An anonymous source reportedly told Us Weekly, "They’re done. They could get back together, but it’s over for now."

E! shared a quote from another anonymous source that put the alleged split in softer terms, saying that the two "have been spending apart since early November" and have been focusing on their careers.

Gigi and Zayn seemed to rekindle their relationship last year; Gigi called him her "happy place" in an Instagram post in October. They also celebrated the Muslim festival Eid together in August.

Previously, the two ended things for the first time in March of 2018 after dating for two years. They each tweeted statements addressing the split, and at the time, Gigi wrote, "I'm forever grateful for the love, time and life lessons that Z and I shared. I want nothing but the best for him and will continue to support him as a friend that I have immense respect and love for. As for the future, whatever's meant to be will always be."

In June, Zayn told GQ that the two were still friends and in contact with each other. "We're adults," he said then. "We don't need to put a label on it, make it something for people's expectations."

So far, neither has commented on the breakup reports on social media, so it's best to take the news with a grain of salt if, or until, either Zayn or Gigi decide to talk about their relationship status themselves.
