The Replica Studio has been a great purchase for me. I can roll it around to any window in my house so I can catch the perfect light!! It was easy to assemble and it’s easy to store. I have it tucked away in the corner of my extra bedroom at the moment. I love how I can pull it over to the window, take a few quick pictures and roll it back. The best thing of all is that I don’t need to use the small stands. There are slots for me to slide the boards into which makes swapping out boards super easy. Absolutely love the stand! Putting it together was another matter. There was paint in the screw holes, and the plastic corners don't line up with the screw holes. My husband and I had to manhandle the corners to get them to fit. Once it was together...it's fabulous! Replica Surfaces needs to work with the manufactures have them paint first, then drill the holes.

I just got my Replica Surfaces Studio and I love it! I assembled it myself with no problems and began using it immediately. I have physical disabilities that make it hard for me to shoot my food photos. The Studio allows me to place it in my room, right next to my computer where I tether my camera for shooting. I have a large window on the opposite side allowing me to shoot with side lighting. I can easily spin the Studio around for just the right lighting. Much of the time I use artificial lighting and that works great too. I hesitated for months about the purchase but finally got in on the Labor Day sale and I am so glad I did. OMG!! I never imagined how much I needed something like this! It has made my picture taking a great deal easier.
It is well packaged to prevent any damage to the products. The tripod is heavy and extremely well made. It has several postions. It can be raised and lowered and it with locks into postion. The feet can also be adjusted to further out or closer in. Plus the wheels lock in place. Then it is topped with a heavy plate that will hold the surfaces on the bottom.
The item comes in different pieces and you put it together. Let me preface that I am not mechanically inclined. Tools and screws are provided. It is therefore, that I really appreciated the video of putting it together. Mind you it comes with a placard that gives written instructions with pictures. I am a visual learner and preferred the video. The studio comes together in a matter of minutes.
Once put together the surfaces can be slidethrough a stand and held in place on the sides. The top of the surfaces have stands to attach surfaces together.
My favorite features are by far the wheels and the handle to push it around.
Of course, I adore the replica stands as they push the surfaces together so that no light is coming in between the gaps.
So easy to push to wherever the light is during the day. Easy to setup, put together and take down if necessary. I love how easy it is to just push it out of the way to store.
It has made my blogging life so much easier. It feels almost like magic. So worth the price. I highly suggest this product as it will make your life so much easier.

Ok, I don't normally leave reviews- for anything. But I read them, and understand how valuable they are. I've been using Replica Surfaces since 2019, and just picked up the Replica Studio kit.
AND OH MAN IT'S AWESOME! Super well made, all metal construction, easy to move around, raise and lower.. wheels are smooth and easy to roll.. the grooves fit the Replica surfaces perfectly, and the handle being able to hold a 5-in-1 is a joy. It's the perfect height for flat lay or straight on photos. I used to use a large dining table for my flat lay images, but why bother with such a large table for a single lipstick or something similar? This thing saves a lot of space, makes setup and breakdown really easy.
I LOVE IT. Buy it once and it will last you for your entire career.

VERY GOOD FOR SMALL SPACES
I held off on purchasing a Studio a) because of the price and b) because I live in a tiny cottage with a minimalist husband. Finally I decided to give myself a Christmas present and took the plunge. Well, this Studio comes apart and together quickly and easily, allowing me to store it behind a chair. (It’s a little heavy, owing to the fact of how well made it is. Don’t let the price scare you away - it is a worthwhile lifetime investment!) Another bonus is the step-by-step video on how to assemble it, and the fact that it came with extra screws and washers, so when somebody (me) drops a screw and still can’t find it after 30 minutes on my belly trying to contort myself under a cabinet, well, it’s all good! Because it came with extra pieces! Also, it’s a dream to use. Those old stands were the bane of my existence! I could never get them to fit properly and my Surfaces were always bowed. Plus, now I can wheel my Surfaces around my house, chasing the winter light.
Seriously, don’t hesitate! Get you a Studio stat! You will be so happy you did.

The Replica Surfaces Studio has been a game changer for helping me take better photos. I have struggled with trying to take photos in my living room as that's where the best natural lighting is. The ability to move my whole setup and rotate everything without having to move each piece has been pivotal! I love it, BUT… I wish it were a bit easier to get the tripod lined up right. The first time I used it was fine. The second time I used it, I didn’t even realize the legs weren’t lined up at the ideal angle, and I kept knocking it over and knocking stuff down and breaking things. I thought I had bent the wheels or something. My boyfriend finally looked at it and realized the tripod wasn’t extended to the right angle. I also really wish it incorporated storage. That’s my biggest problem with RS, is finding places to safely store my massive collection!

My husband bought me this for Christmas after I mentioned really wanting one. I was so excited, but had to wait a very long time to receive it. It finally arrived and it was pretty easy to put together. It rolls along nicely and I love being able to insert the backgrounds more easily than with the stands. Overall, it's going to be such a help to me so I don't have to clutter up the dining table every time I want to take pictures.
I do wish it had some sort of crank to move it up and down. The instructions say you're supposed to take off the table portion before adjusting the height, which seems really impractical. Often I need to set up a scene and then lower/raise it afterwards. The swivel is awesome, though. I'm hoping a couple of improvements are made and eventually I'll probably want a second one so I don't have to switch out the surfaces as often.
