Michael Jackson’s father refiles wrongful death claim against Conrad Murray

Joe Jackson adds pharmacy owners as defendants in case

Michael Jackson‘s dad Joe has refiled a wrongful death claim against the singer’s doctor Conrad Murray.

Jackson originally filed a claim against Dr Murray in federal court on June 25, a year after Jackson died, but a judge ruled that it should go to a state court.

His attorney Brian Oxman said there is “still much to discover” about Jackson‘s death, reports BBC News. Coroners said the death was a result of intoxication from the drug Propofol.

Joe Jackson has added as a defendant the owners of a Las Vegas pharmacy that sold anaesthetics to Dr Murray.

Dr Murray, who is licensed in California, Nevada and Texas, pleaded not guilty in a separate criminal case to involuntary manslaughter relating to Jackson‘s death.
