Larry David, the star of HBO’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm” and the brains behind NBC’s “Seinfeld,” recently revealed his favorite Curb episode.
The comedian, writer and actor told Variety his favorite episode was “Palestinian Chicken” at the show’s final season premiere.
The episode, which was the third installment of the eighth season, aired back in 2011.
The “Palestinian Chicken” episode touches on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
David and his buddy, Jeff (Jeff Garlin), check out a new Palestinian chicken restaurant.
Friction ensues between David, who is Jewish, and his Jewish friends, who are upset after David eats at the restaurant that displays some hateful posters. The posters, coupled with Larry’s new affair with a Palestinian woman employee of the restaurant, causes a great deal of turmoil.
“Curb Your Enthusiasm” is coming to an end after a 24-year, 12-season run.
The final season kicks off on Sunday, Feb. 4 at 10 p.m. on HBO and MAX.
