Watch Norway Team Ulsrud’s trick shot at World Curling Championship

Thomas Ulsrud

The Norwegian curling team skipped by Thomas Ulsrud is well-known for its crazy pants. Ulsrud went the unusual route again in the World Championship gold-medal game Sunday.

Watch his last shot against Sweden at the 1-minute mark in the above video. Ulsrud, already resigned to silver, had a little fun before conceding the game to Sweden, which had run up an essentially insurmountable 9-5 lead in the ninth of 10 ends.

“That was a trick shot,” Ulsrud told WorldCurlingTV. “I guess, if you’re ever going to play it, this was the time.”

Earlier this season, Team Ulsrud put on their pants on the ice without using their hands at the Continental Cup (video here).
