Premier LeagueSpanish manager happy with Watford

Quique rules out return to Valencia

Quique Sánchez Flores has categorically stated that he's "very happy" with Watford and has no intentions of making a return to Valencia.

The Spanish manager admitted to being saddened by the situation at Valencia. "I'm sad for the situation of Valencia, it's very strange", Quique said, before adding that he's also "sad for the situation of Gary Neville because every time a coach doesn't finish a project it is obviously bad news". He expects the fortunes of his former club to turn around though: "I'm expecting Valencia will recuperate and have a good run because it is necessary for the club".

Sánchez Flores, who played for Valencia for a decade (1984-1994) and also managed the club for two years (2005-2007), said that he's loving life with the Hornets, after joining the English club last summer: "I am completely happy at Watford. I love the fans of Watford and I am really happy with every person who is working for Watford. We are a family"."
