Amid the celebration of 74th Independence Day in India, Indian hackers have once again targeted Pakistan websites. Just a day before Independence Day, Indian hackers have hacked the website of Pakistan's Fatima Jinnah Mahila University. It was hacked by hackers named ‘ Indian Cyber Troops ‘ wherein images and messages congratulating Pakistan was shared. However, the website was restored shortly afterwards.

A video of it was shared by Pakistani journalist Nayla on her Twitter handle, which has a screen recording of the university website. Taking to their website, the Indian hackers wrote, Hacked by Indian cyber troops, with a picture of the India tricolor and Lord Rama beneath it with mention of building temples in Karachi and Lahore. In the next message, it said, “thousands of people have sacrificed their lives because of which our country is celebrating this day today. This is not the first instance where Indian hackers have mishandled Pakistan websites on Independence Day eve with similar incidents happening in 2017 and in 2018. A few days ago, the famous Dawn News website was hacked by Indian hackers with similar kind of captions.
