Law360 editorial employees walked out today after more than a year of bargaining with the company. The Law360 Union put many proposals on the table - sick leave, parental leave and PTO - but the company’s responses have not been meaningful. Today is the one-year anniversary of when the bargaining committee put down proposals for sick leave, retirement and PTO. The company has kept us waiting and has slow-walked negotiations. Recently, Law360 management shared the 2024 holiday calendar, which doesn’t recognize Juneteenth as a federal holiday. The company has proposed that we exchange our floating holiday for Juneteenth while touting a commitment to diversity and inclusion. The floating holiday is important for Law360 employees who use the time off for religious and other observances. Share your support by signing our petition: https://lnkd.in/d5ChRV-t
