Meet Reporter Isabella Basco.

AUSTIN, Texas — Isabella Basco joined the KVUE team in January 2023 after four snowy, cold years in the Midwest. She started her career as a reporter in Rochester, Minnesota, and moved to Omaha, Nebraska, two years later. But she's a Texan at heart.

She was born in Galveston, Texas, but her family later settled down in Memphis, Tennessee. To her, returning to the Lone Star State is a full-circle story!

Since childhood, Isabella has always dreamed of becoming a journalist, so she learned the craft by studying for her undergraduate degree in communication and Spanish at Wake Forest University. She also has a master's in journalism from Georgetown University.

Isabella is bilingual in English and Spanish and loves to shed light on diverse people and communities. A strong believer in connecting with and helping others, she also loves to volunteer, sing, play piano, cook and bake for her loved ones.

Please don't hesitate to say "hello" or wave if you see Isabella out and about, or please reach out to her at ibasco@kvue.com or on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram
