Cudicini "okay"

Chelsea keeper Carlo Cudicini said that he is "okay" after swallowing his tongue in the 1-0 Premiership win at Reading on Saturday. Cudicini was carried off in a neck brace at the end of a match that had earlier seen first-choice stopper Petr Cech carried

"I'm okay. Just a little bit of a headache but apart from that, okay," he said at Chelsea's training ground in Cobham on Monday.

"I've had a lot of messages, from here, from Italy, and I use this occasion to thank everybody for their concern about my situation."

The Italian goalkeeper landed heavily after contesting a late corner with Ibrahima Sonko and Chelsea team-mate Didier Drogba.

Cudicini is unlikely to play in Wednesday's Champions League clash with Barcelona, Portuguese keeper Hilario pencilled in to start while Cech is expected to be out until at least the New Year.
