Jermaine Jackson is utterly furious at the rumours that his brother Michael's doctor Conrad Murray might be heading into the I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! jungle.

The late King of Pop's brother spent yesterday appealing to ITV's better nature over Twitter.

Murray is famous for treating the iconic singer at the time of his death from an overdose of prescription pills. He was formally charged with involuntary manslaughter and served two years of a four-year sentence in prison.

Jermaine sent a number of messages to ITV, his followers and even Ant & Dec, pleading with them not to bring the divisive figure to the jungle.

Slamming Murray as "a guilty, odious man", he wrote on Twitter that "he & his trashy book can't be taken seriously".

Jermaine also hit out at bosses for even considering the move, calling it "despicable" and suggesting the production company's "moral compass is hideously skewed" if the casting goes ahead.

He looped hosts Ant & Dec in too, adding:" also, Conrad Murray reportedly in talks re UK show 'I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Outta Here!' No way @itv & @antanddec can stoop so low.".

It comes after Murray's publicist Max Markson appeared to confirm that the controversial doctor WAS in talks over the next series.

"I'm sure everyone will be fascinated to hear what Conrad has to say about his time with Michael," Markson told The Mirror.

I'm a Celebrity returns to ITV later this year.
