Into a New World

In an arcade with many games, two teenagers talked, one a male the other a female.
The male was a short kid with messy brown hair and black rimmed glasses that covered his deep green eyes.
The female was taller than the male. She had long red hair and bright blue eyes.
“Wow, did you hear about that new Digimon game, Ronin?” The male asked.
“Yeah I did, Arata.” The female answered, most likely Ronin.
“I dare you to go try it out.” Arata dared his friend.
“Fine, I will.” Ronin answered in a dead-serious tone. She walked over to the machine that Arata was talking about and hooked up a small device to it. She sat down in a chair and put a helmet on.
“Wait, what’s happening?” Ronin asked. “Whaaaa!” She cried, then she disappeared.
Arata, being the scared one, yet also smart, went to go get help.

That has been happening all around Japan. Kids go into the new Digimon game, then they disappear into the Digital World. That’s right, the Digital World, where all the Digimon live. They get paired up with a Digimon, and they get a D-3 Digivice to boot. You are one of those kids.
A dark power is rising in the Digital World, and only the new Digidestined can stop it. Do you have what it takes to save the Digital World?

4. Your partner can stay in it’s Rookie form or In-Training form for long periods of time. Anything higher than Rookie is not allowed (I know in the show that Kari had Gatomon, who is a champion level Digimon, but this isn't the show).

Name: Ronin Koizumi
Age: 16

Digivice Colors: Red center with black grips.
Looks: Ronin is a tall girl, standing at 6’3”. She weighs 143.2 pounds. Her hair is long, reaching the middle of her thighs. It’s colored red and it’s usually kept in a black ponytail holder. Her skin is pale and she looks to be of Japanese descent. Her eyes are an electric blue, tinted with a bit of green. She stands tall, and she rarely ever slouches.
Ronin’s main outfit consists of a black, short-sleeved shirt with a red skull engulfed in red and black flames, short, faded, blue jeans, a pair of black, fingerless gloves with the same skull design on them as the shirt, a black baseball cap with the word ‘Bleach’ on it, white socks, tan straw sandals, and a bracelet with a Quincy Cross on it.
Personality: Ronin is a kind-hearted person. Well, if you’re on her good side, she is. She can’t stand to see people hurt, and would defend anyone who was being hurt. She is always seen wearing a smile, hoping to calm people’s nerves.
Ronin isn't always a nice person, though. If you get on her bad side, watch out. She will go to great lengths to give her friends justice if they are harmed by anyone in any way. She can hold a grudge for a long time, though she usually doesn't.
Ronin is a calm person. She doesn't do things without meaning, and she doesn't yell, unless she has a reason to. Yes, she does get mad, but she tries to calm herself down when she does, so then she doesn't hurt the people she cares about.
History: Ronin was born in Kobe City, Japan in Nada-ku. Her parents were Sachiko Koizumi and Taro Koizumi.
Ronin had a pretty normal life in Kobe City. Her parents were normal, not rich, but not poor, either.
At the age of two, Ronin moved from Kobe City to the capital of Japan, Toyko. Her parents told her that they needed a bigger house, because her mother was pregnant.
At the age of three, Ronin's mother gave birth to twins. The girl was named Natsumi Koizumi. The boy was named Nori Koizumi.
After that, everything was normal again. It stayed like that for a few years, ten, to be exact.
When Ronin was thirteen, she learned about Digimon. She loved it. She met a friend in school through Digimon, Arata Kurosawa.
At the age of sixteen, Arata and Ronin were at the local arcade when Arata dared Ronin to try out the new Digimon game. She tried it out, and she was sucked into the game.

Raiden Blade- Produces electromagnetic 'blades' from its forearm-talons by shooting electromagnetic waves through them; the weapons are reputed for having the sharpness of plasma.

Attacks: Atomic War Blaster- Fires the huge pulse cannon on the chest.
Atomic Blaster- Fires up its arm and chest-mounted pulse cannons and unleashes a catastrophic atomic laser bombardment.
Double Edge Σ- Powers his Assault Balancers and charges the adversary with both 'Pendulum Blade Σ' blade-arms.

Attacks: Ogre Flame- Fires super-high temperature shells in a semi-liquid state similar to magma from its mouth.

Name: Briony 'Rio' Andrews
Age: Sixteen - 16
Gender: Female

Digivice Colors: A blue center with silver-grey grips.
Looks: Rio is defined as a girly-girl with long white blonde hair and pale alabaster skin. She has a round face with pale freckles dotting over her nose; she had large blue eyes and a playful smile. She's quite thin and petite, which makes people think she can't protect herself. She stands at about five foot five, making her quite short, and weighs in at 122 pounds. She has what most people call 'fine features', she looks like she's never been out in the sun or done any hard work in her life, which is mostly true considering most of her time was spent inside reading or writing.
Despite Rio's physical appearance, she usually wears a blue and white stripe tank top with a black skull decal in the middle, dark blue skinny jeans, white converse and a cropped Riley biker jacket. She pins a blue butterfly clip into her hair and ties a small sky blue scarf around her neck.
Personality: Rio is quite smart and doesn't bother to hide it. She's sweet and bubbly, thrown in with her charming nature. Like Alice, from the story of Alice in Wonderland, she has a huge imagination, spanning bigger than the universe itself. She often wishes she could disappear into a fake world, where she never had to deal with the real problems of the world, where everybody was happy and nobody starved; which is how she thinks of the Digital World. Her mind is usually on food rather than responsibility, her brain is filled with recipes of food, making her the resident cook. Her biggest dream is to start up a cafe where she can serve the desserts she cooks; like her cupcakes, muffins, cakes, cookies, and everything else.
History: Rio was born in London to Richard and Keira Andrews. The youngest and only daughter in the family. She has four older brothers, Eric, Nathan, Alexi and Samuel, from eldest to youngest. When she was ten years old, Richard deserted Keira and the rest of the family. By eleven, Keira had packed up her children and moved them to Tokyo, Japan. Rio instantly loved it, she loved the food, she loved the sights, she loved everything; her brothers weren't as fond of it, having missed their friends and their old home. Eventually, they grew to like Tokyo. When Rio was thirteen, her mother remarried one of the richest business men in Tokyo; this was also the year that Rio discovered Digimon. Her brothers weren't as into it, but Rio couldn't keep her mind off it. When Rio was sixteen, she learnt about a new Digimon game at the arcade and had to go and check it out before being sucked into the game.

Name: Daisuke 'Dai' Aoki
Age: Eighteen - 18

Digivice Colors: Dark grey center with neon green grips.
Looks: Dai is quite tall and well built for his age, standing at six foot two. His hair is naturally straight and it worn long hanging just above his shoulders, it unusually silky and well taken care of despite how Dai treats it. It usually hangs out around his head as he refuses to tie it back. He has large crystal blue eyes, that hold the slightest touch of coldness, but they are usually filled with flirty teasing. Dai has one of his ears pierced after getting it done when he was younger, around thirteen. He is quite tanned considering he spends a lot of his time outside.
Dai usually dresses in half buttoned up shirts and black pants, wearing dark coloured combat boots on his feet and sometimes wearing a black hoodie if it's cold enough. It should be easy to tell that he doesn't care much about his appearance.
Personality: Dai can be nice when he's around people he likes or girls he's taken an interest in, though that isn't often. He's usually quite a flirt, a real joker to be around and doesn't care much about anything. He has no sense of responsibility, though somehow seems to be one of the smartest people you'll ever meet. He's a major con artist and can convince anybody of anything, a great liar and nobody can see through his facade. But below this outer shell, Dai is just a scared little boy, one that just wants to be loved and held and cared for; but he doubts that anybody will ever know about this side of him as he has it locked up tight.
History: Dai had a rough childhood, being born into a poor family in a bad neighbourhood. They often had to scavenge for food or even steal at times to get by. When Dai was about five years old, his mother fell pregnant and nine months later was blessed with a daughter; to the family's sorrow, the daughter, aptly named Yumi, was very sick. For the next few years, Dai's parents put all their money into trying to heal their daughter, forgetting all about Daisuke. Unfortunately, Yumi died by the age of three, falling victim to her illness, fortunately she died without pain in her sleep. Their parents mourned for the loss of their daughter, Dai did as well and but that time, he had become the victim of bullying at school because of his ratty clothing and poor family. By the age of thirteen, Dai had decided that he would get a high end job to provide for his family. By fifteen, he was working for a large business company and this was the first time he met Rio. He instantly took an interest in the rich little girl wearing her designer dress and little shoes, playing the latest Digimon game. When Rio's mother and stepfather went on business trips or were in meetings, Dai was paid to look after Rio. Rio reminded Dai of Yumi and he took her under his wing, unknowing of the girl's fascination of him. Upon hearing of the new Digimon game at the arcade, he took her to it, when she disappeared, he followed her in.

Yes, and yes. The only way this is connected to Digimon is the universe. This isn't connected to any seasons, so no Tai and other cannon characters.
