Reese Witherspoon’s hefty real estate portfolio has become one house lighter. The actor and entrepreneur just sold one of her Nashville, Tennessee properties in an off-market deal to music producer Randy Wachtler, according to Dirt. It is reported that the founder and president of 11 One/Music paid $7.4 million for the Colonial-style mansion, almost double what Witherspoon paid for it in 2018.
Built in 1937, the grand two-story mansion is designed in the neoclassical style of most 19th-century southern homes, complete with a tall columned porch tiled with red brick and Georgian-style windows, including three dormers. Clad in white bricks, the 8,400-square-foot structure sits on 1.23 acres, and has six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, and a pool out back.

Renovations on the inside are contemporary, but retain the house’s southern charm. A wide foyer greets you upon entering, branching off to a dining room on the right and a formal living room with a fireplace to the left. All white walls can be found throughout, and dark hardwood floors dominate, except for in the gourmet kitchen with its attached informal seating area, both of which are paved with stone tiles. Other spaces on the lower floor include an office, a breakfast room with its own kitchenette, and a screened-in sunroom off of the kitchen, facing the pool. Large windows abound, giving access to natural light and the outdoors from every room. On the second floor, a primary bathroom includes a cozy corner with a contemporary stand-alone tub.
Witherspoon has become a seasoned house flipper over the years having bought and sold several properties in the last two decades. Dirt reports that the Legally Blonde star has purchased $28 million in real estate across Los Angeles and Nashville, just this year alone.
