This album is a great intro the Kruder & Dorfmeister's work; perfect as upbeat background music. The only downside is that the album is short.

Now if I could only get a copy of the K&D sessions on vinyl I'd be set!

Those of you in the know....realize that no one does it quite like K&D. G-Stoned is an early effort and standing here in the new millenium, hindsight being what it is, G-Stoned cannot match up to DJ KICKS and Sessions, or even any Tosca or Peace Symphony effort. In short it is the worst of the best but still better than 90 percent of what is out there. BUY IT!

I love K&D and love this record but I wish it was longer. The tracks are great don't get me wrong, this disk just leaves me wanting more which is not always a bad thing lol.

Hey you, if you love & understand the essence of music I would say go get this one, and if its not upto your mark send me the world's most abusive email and I would accept it happily.

Music for a person who has a ear and stomach for rhythm(i.e music), and is not merely content with listening to it but is also visualising and absorbing everything that he hears and feels.

After reading what others had to say about this album I had to give my two cents.
Don't get me wrong, I think 'Sessions' is great but it's slightly over hyped. It is just an album of remixes after all. Their 'Dj Kicks' effort is good as well, it's not a stand out in the series though.
If you want the real deal pick up this EP. It's the first release K&D officially put out, and it's fantastic. These four tracks will lock you in their groove time after time. Believe me, you'll lose track of how many times you'll play this. A classic. When it comes to good, quality down-tempo music: nothing beats this EP. Maybe some day K&D will bless us with a full LP of their original work, but until then this will fill the void. Enjoy.

I like this record, but not nearly as much as much as their later works "KD Sessions," or "DJ Kicks." It's a bit low energy and the quality of the recording is suspect: the recording volume seems way low on my cd (I really have to crank it), plus it's very short, but "G-Stoned" definitly pointed them in a great direction. A mellow, stoney groove with lots of flute. Jazzy at times, beyond Chill, going to bed, as in sleep...

This disc has only 25 minutes of music on it, but if you like Kruder Dorfmeister, you'll love it. The tracks segue smoothly together, and are delightful listening for quiet afternoons at home or on headphones in the metro. It's less heavy-hitting than their reknowned K+D sessions. As with most of their stuff, this cd will hold your interest through repeated listenings.
