Like many other celebrities, Charlize Theron has been traipsing around Paris for fashion week, and currently, we are living for her striking chrome manicure. After attending the Christian Dior Womenswear Spring/Summer 2024 show, the Fast X actor shared a photo dump on Instagram and showed off her nails that looked like molten aluminum.

Theron posted pictures from her travels that included two close-up shots of her silver nails on the same day as the show, which was held on September 26. Slides two and four of the carousel provide the clearest views of her metallic tips.

To achieve the look, nail artist Tom Bachik filed her nails into an almond shape in a medium length. He coated each nail with Aprés French Manicure Gel in French Black, a pitch-black polish. Then, for the reflective finish, he rubbed Daily Charme's Mirror Nail Chrome Magic Powder on each tip, transforming the black nails into the silver chrome tips we see here. For even more shine, he finished the nails with a layer of Aprés Non-Wipe Glossy Top Gelcoat.

In the comments, several fans noted that Theron's silver nails looked identical to that of her on-screen character Lady Lesso from the 2022 film The School For Good and Evil, which is likely just a coincidence seeing there's been no news about a sequel to the film. She surely didn't adopt Lady Lesso's bright red hair for fashion week, so she might have simply missed those reflective silver nails.
