Get ready to be absolutely woo’d by this golden retriever in a man’s body because Robert is smitten from the first meeting. You end up meeting through Jonathan, having been a close friend of the young man since you were younger after taking in Danny for the Joestar (back when he didn’t trust Dio he’d been worrying himself sick about leaving him alone with his best friend, so you, ever the animal lover, offered to take him in, and the two of you had been close friends ever since). He’d heard nothing but good things about you from Mr. Joestar, but he doesn’t anticipate just how quiet you are when the pair of you are first introduced.

You’re almost shy, and at first Speedwagon is worried that he’s somehow left the wrong impression and made you afraid of him - sure, his appearance is somewhat more rugged than most people, but had he made you uncomfortable somehow? He’s thankful to learn that it’s not the case and that you’re just quiet around new people, and he gets a brief glimpse at the more cheerier side of your personality when you’re around Jonathan, your smile widening a little more as you grow emboldened enough to speak more with Speedwagon. Seeing this glimpse makes him want to see more of it, and soon enough he’s making more and more efforts to spend time with you, hoping that his continued presence will help in reassuring you that he’s someone that you open up to, and open up you do, the bubbly personality coming forth so vibrantly that he’s taken aback by the sheer beauty that you radiate when you can be yourself.

Being surrounded by violence in his formative years, Robert doesn’t quite understand how enamoured you are by the scarier moving picture, but he loves you, and so he makes a hell of an effort to get into your interests. That doesn’t mean he isn’t going to gauge the quality though - he accidentally let slip that a particular scene does a shoddy job of a fight - I mean, surely they’d know that holding a knife like that is a great way to accidentally break a thumb? Almost immediately he clams up, watching your reaction go from perplexed to thoroughly entertained as you eagerly scooch into his side, voicing your own jabs as you prod him for more of his thoughts about the reading material (completely missing the bright red that sinks all the way down to his collarbone at the sudden action.

As you both value loyalty, once you’re close you’re practically attached at the hip, even more so when Speedwagon finally takes the leap to pursue you romantically. Your affection towards coffee is duly noted, and even after you’ve been together for years he still likes to surprise you with a morning coffee, the expression on your face when you catch the scent of freshly made coffee being one of his favorites. He takes your preferences for quiet into account, but he really can’t help himself from his exclamations sometimes - after all so many times having to shout across the battlefield to warn his hamon-wielding friends leaves a certain tone deafness to how loud he can get sometimes. He’s quickly reminded with the scrunched brow you get when he’s too loud, and the loud apology just as swiftly dies on his tongue as a flurry of purposefully quiet apologies tumble from his lips.

I match you with Tomoko!

Okay so Josuke made a joke about you having a crush on his mom once. ONCE. You weren’t supposed to take it as a blueprint to actually try your luck with her! Too bad for him because turns out that interest is equally reciprocated by Tomoko! You almost can’t believe it - when you’d come knocking on her door, shy, bumbling smile on your face as you’d asked her out, you fully did so expecting to be turned down. After all, your aesthetics couldn’t be more different, surely that meant you guys were totally different in other ways too and it wouldn’t work out? Jokes on you, because after giving you a look over she huffs, commenting on the respect for your boldness before actually taking you up on your offer and nudging the door open for you to come inside.

The two of you actually hit it off extremely well! She went through a big phase of collecting and researching bugs when she was younger, so she has a field day hearing about all the different kinds of bugs that you’ve both caught and looked into to over the past few years. If you have any kind of collection, rest assured Tomoko wants to see it for herself, making for a cute first date as she watches you ramble and fawn over all the little details that make up your notes and displays. The other things are an acquired taste, but so long as you don’t bring them up over dinner or while she’s actively eating she can deal with it.

Tomoko’s got an appreciation for the brutal honesty, even if you deliver those brutally honest lines with a stutter and fumbling manner. She’s rather blunt herself, and appreciates someone who also doesn’t beat around the bush about things - if there’s something you want to do or want to achieve, it’s not going to get done by talking circles around the issue. She’s an excellent source of comfort with your struggles with perfectionism. She understands the concern with wanting something to be perfect, even if it means going to stupid or downright dangerous means to do so. However, Tomoko’s not about to let you stew on those pesky thoughts and let them get the best of you so long as she’s there to stop it. She’s gotten good at sensing when something’s up, so any attempts to hide it just about go up in flames when you’re suddenly tugged back into her field of view and nudged onto the nearest seat, gaze firm as she coaxes you to take deep breaths and put those feelings you’re going through into words - speaking them out helps to make them real, and gives her an idea of what to do to help. 

Things don’t have to be perfect, but it means so much to you that she’s gonna make damn sure things get as close to perfect as it can.

I match you with Jean-Pierre Polnareff!

Polnareff is just as outgoing and rambunctious so the two of you will hit things off from the get go! He loves your boldness and the lengths that you go to when you set your mind to something, though he can’t help but crack a smile whenever you break of into an excited ramble – he could listen to you talk for ages and wouldn’t get bored of hearing you speak in the slightest. Absolutely loves your jokes even though he won’t admit it – if it’s a particularly bad pun it’s almost enough to make you burst into laughter seeing him released an exaggerated grown and roll his eyes, even as the growing grin on his face indicate he’s anything but annoyed by the terrible usages of puns.

As he’s quite tall there’s a significant size different between the two of you which he thinks is absolutely adorable, though he can’t help but worry seeing you dart all over the place as you’re almost to energetic to keep up with. You can bet he’ll adhere to your sweet tooth to get you to calm down though – Pol will end up carrying sweets around whenever the two of you are out together and the two of you can gorge on them during breaks.

Pol is an absolute sucker for affection so the fact that this is shared essentially makes him excited to pretty much cuddle you all of the time; lying down, standing up, sitting down – whatever you’re doing he loves being able to scoop you up in his arms and cuddle with you, littering your face with kisses until you’re a flushed, laughing mess. Lazy morning cuddles are his favourite though; even though he complains he doesn’t look his best so early in the day he can never say no when you tug him back down onto the bed and lounge across him, declaring that you’re never gonna move unless he provides those quality cuddles – it never fails to get a chuckle out of him~

He’ll let you read out your writing whenever you’re looking for a second opinion, though he’s terrible at giving any other feedback besides complimenting your writing relentlessly, enough to make anyone blush. Though he doesn’t often play many games he’ll at least watch you play them – he especially likes ones that are more story driven and the two of you have plenty of fun watching through cut scenes and keeping yourselves entertained waiting between loading screens.

Given his past experiences with dogs in general (see exhibit A-Z: Iggy) he’s certainly a lot more willing to get along with any cats you have – and if you don’t you can be sure that Pol will seriously consider getting you a cat after you’ve been together for a while, though you might have to be prepared for said cat to end up attaching to him as most of the time he’s got a way with animals (not to mention he’s tall enough to be a natural cat perch, any cat you own will be climbing those shoulders just as much as you will).

I match you with Koichi!

Koichi certainly doesn’t underestimate your strength when it comes to your height especially when it comes to your affinity for picking people up and carrying them around, and he doesn’t mind letting you if you’re really set on actually doing that to him – though please give this poor boy some warning before you do, even with a warning he’ll get flustered at the sudden display and get all kinds of flushed. With that being said though he finds it more amusing watching you surprise your other friends by sweeping them up off of your feet, Josuke and Okuyasu in particular because he can’t help but chuckle hearing the two of them yell out when you’re darting out of nowhere and parading them around with the cutest grin on your face, even as they’re trying to convince Koichi to help get them back down.

He’s also quite reserved at the beginning but he’s nothing if not welcoming, after all his own friends are all a really close knit group so you’ll be warming up to them in no time; despite outer appearances they all genuinely do want to earn your trust and make sure that you’re happy being around them all. Koichi’s easily flustered in regards to romance as well so it’ll be a learning experience for the both of you – whenever you hold hands or you wrap your arms around him he just can’t help smiling as his cheeks heat up, and the longer that the two of you are together you can be sure that eventually the two of you will be a lot more confident and open around one another, though even the thought of being the one to initiate a hug or kiss is enough to make him red in the face the moment the thought crosses his mind.

He’ll be sure to take you outside on dates whenever he can, just little things like walking around the park or going somewhere with a nice view for a picnic but he makes sure to make them meaningful and does his best to ensure that you’ve had fun and are happy by the end of every date. Though on the days that you’re more in the mood for staying in and taking a nap he’s happy to just bring some snacks over and bundle up with you on the sofa to watch some movies, though you can bet he’ll blush if you end up falling asleep on his shoulder halfway through.

You and Kakyoin hit it off like oil and matches! It’s actually your art that introduces the pair of you from the beginning. He’s seen you out and about before, and one way or another you’ve been creating something - whether that’s leaving little doodles on a napkin while you’re taking a break, or actually drawing in a sketchbook that you’ve brought along with you as you watch the people pass from your carefully selected position. Kakyoin finally broaches the subject of introducing himself to you when you leave your sketchbook behind - he’s seen you doodle in it for weeks, and even if he hadn’t he can tell it’s yours from the little scribbled name in the corner. It’s the perfect excuse that he’s been looking for to start talking to you, and he’s just as chuffed to learn that apparently had the same idea when you remark that you’ve been meaning to talk to him the times that you’ve crossed paths.

Your tenacity for obtaining information is admirable in Kakyoin’s eyes. There’s a hunger in your eyes as you study the world around you, eagerly searching for the next thing to catch your attention and learn about; it’s a refreshing way to look at the world, and being around you, Kak can’t help but see the world in a new light to - he’s looking at streets he’s been wandering around for years like he’s really seeing them for the first time, and he adores how refreshing it is, making him want to spend more and more time around you chasing that feeling. It does broach some awkward topics though considering that your desire for learning things isn’t just for facts - you want to learn about him too??? That’s…flustering, to be asked so eagerly by the person that he likes so much. He doesn’t quite know where to start, but he’s happy to answer what he can to sate their curiosity; everything he says only serves to peak more and more of your curiosity as you continue to prod for answer.

He traveled across Egypt? He was in a plane crash?! HE NEARLY LOST HIS EYES?!?!

…okay, so maybe Kakyoin didn’t realize just how bizarre his life had been up until the point you’re looking at him with fascination and low-key horror at how casually he recalls his time travelling across Egypt (conveniently leaving out the multiple assassination attempts as he fears that when you learn about them your poor heart will give out worrying sick over him.)

Once things get more serious he’ll bring you home to meet his parents - you and his mother hit off like nothing else, and he has to bit back a chuckle watching the pair of you bonding like you’ve known each other for years, jokingly commenting that it looks like a mothers meeting more than meeting the family. That is until his mom starts pulling out the family album to gush over Kak’s baby photos and then he’s crossing the distance faster than you can blink, trying and failing to worm the book out of his mother’s hands in a vain attempt to preserve his image in your eyes.

I match you with Bruno!

You and Bruno have a lot more chemistry than you may initially realize! Being one of Passione’s Capos has afforded him the ability to see people for who they really are (in a non tang of a liar kind of way, thankfully). Your vibrant hair is one of the first things that catches his eyes, namely how it seems to change every time the pair of you happen to cross paths. The first time that he notices it, he assumed it was just the timing - it was dyed such a pretty color that he’s sure that you were going to keep it around for a while. And yet not even a month later it’s completely different in shade, as is the hair color after that, and the one after that. You may be quiet and keep to yourself at the beginning, the little things about your appearance and aesthetics choices speak volumes about what your personality is truly like; needless to say it peaks his curiosity just enough to keep an eye out for you whenever he’s in an area that you tend to frequent.

Your passion for writing is the second thing that he learns about you, and it’s also the first time that the pair of you are introduced properly. You have the fortune (or misfortune depending on how you look at it) of being in the same cafe as Passione, whatever meeting they’d planned to have having long concluded once the food had been brought out. It’s hard not to keep glancing at them from where you’re sitting, glancing up from where you’re writing every once in a while to see what’s going on. No sooner have you turned your attention away from them however that something comes sailing through the air, a fork half covered in cake barely missing your papers as it bounces off the table and skids off to the side. You don’t have time to guess the culprit before Bruno’s got a sheepish Narancia and Fugo standing before you, standing behind them like a disapproving parent as they apologize for almost nailing you with the utensil. That’s when Bruno takes a glance at the papers strewn across your table - scribbled notes and flow charts detailing a timeline for some kind of story. A novel writer, perhaps? From his angle he can only make up a few, but that doesn’t mean he’s not going to use it as a prime conversation starter once things have calmed back down. Bruno is genuinely intrigued by your interests, and has no qualms asking you about what you’re writing and how long you’ve been doing it, that interest only growing once he catches a glimpse of just how passionate you are about the project, eyes practically lighting up at the genuine interest that he’s showing.

One part of him enjoys helping you stave off your boredom, but another part of him likes how excitable and hyper you can get when you’re bored. Bruno can tell when it’s happening by the steadily rising activeness - you can barely sit still, eagerly looking for the next thing to get your attention; not to mention Bruno and the rest of the gang won’t hear the end of the “what are you doing?” questions as you make your rounds around the base, interested to see what they’re working on in the hopes that they’ll let you join in and help out. 

Your sentiments about music are very much shared. Bruno himself has an appreciation for music, and though his breaks are few and far between he enjoys listening to the occasional playlist or record while he’s working or relaxing. Classical music,being one of your current favorites works just fine for him, as the gentle melodies make for an excellent tune to dance to. Don’t be surprised if he pulls you close and saways along with you in time with the music, his voice crooning along with the classical music as he brings his hands to hold yours. Hope you enjoy impromptu singing lessons, because once he catches you lamenting to your friends about how expensive singing lessons can get he doesn’t think twice about treating you to lessons. You aren’t even aware of it till he invites you to go out with him, only to find that he’s signed you up to one of the most renowned vocal instructors in Italy.

Ohhhh boy does Joseph bring the extrovert out of the introvert, if only to yell at him for the shit that he gets into. Even from the first meeting that initial shyness and hesitation only lasts about as long as it takes for Joseph to slide into your life, the Joestar suavely sliding into the seat next to you with a telltale grin that just spells trouble as he asks if the seat’s taken. He’s bold, you’ll give him that, but you’re guessing this was an impromptu thing when a blond man just as quickly intervenes, dragging both Joseph and the chair that he’s sitting on away with enough force that you have to feel bad for the poor bloke. 

He loooves when you act all shy, because it makes you a lot more susceptible for his cheesy pickup lines and affectionate nicknames. There’s something about watching you flush and look away when he lays on those love-dovey pet names that makes him absolutely smitten, and even if he lays it on too thick it doesn’t stop him in the slightest - hell, even if you burst into laughter he considers it a job well done, even if he fakes a put and asks what’s so funny, only prompting you to laugh a little harder. Making you laugh and smile is one of his biggest goals in a relationship - he hates the sad and somber moments, and would much rather make you happy than making you upset in any way. Don’t get me wrong, he’s going to pull on your nerves and get your blood boiling plenty of times (in fact its guaranteed) but if he can get you back that smiling, wonderful face that he fell for, then he’d move worlds to make it happen.

There will never be a dull moment around any Joestar, but Joseph Joestar is a special case. Take an adventure of a lifetime, a fight against god-like beings, near deaths experiences, and enough plane crashes to last three lifetimes, and you’ve got the beginnings of what a relation with Joseph Joestar is going to be like. And what’s more romantic than unwittingly bringing your partner along for the ride~? All he needs to hear is that one ‘yes’ and Joseph’s pulling every string in his power making sure that you’re not only safe, but know you’re loved throughout the whole thing.

I match you with Gyro!

Gyro’s already a pretty fun and relaxed guy and doesn’t mind in the slightest that you’re so quiet and shy when the two of you first meet up – his definitely loud enough to fill up entire hours of conversation egging you to start speaking up, and even when you don’t so long as he’s able to coax a smile or laugh out of you he’s happy regardless. Loves it once you start opening up to him though, seeing you being able to smile and joke around now that you start to feel comfortable around him really warms up his heart; he finds it nice to finally have some more positivity around too – people with positive attitudes are hard to come by and even harder to keep around, so you can bet he’ll let you know how appreciated you are.

Speaking of appreciated, you can bet he’ll shower you will all kinds of affection. Gyro’s an absolute sucker for PDA so the more he’s able to cuddle up and kiss you the happier this guy’s gonna be. He finds your embarrassment adorable, and finds its all the more reason to constantly give you all of the affection that you deserve. More often than not he likes to surprise you too – sweeping you off of your feet before you can even squeak in surprise and planting a kiss to your cheek, grinning watching you practically melt into his arms in response.

He enjoys seeing you draw, though on more than one occasion you can be sure he’ll jokingly ask you if you’ll ever draw him some time – if you do decide to draw him though he didn’t seriously expect you to and he’ll definitely get flustered, even as he shows it off to people (Johnny will be getting tired of him constantly gushing over the fact preeetty damn quickly too)

Honestly he’s more than happy to let you cling to him whenever you’re feeling sleepy, and will be sure to turn it into an impromptu cuddling session letting you cuddle up into his side so that you’re able to bury your face into his chest so you can get more comfortable. You can bet he’ll be grinning to all heck hearing you mutter out compliments when you’re on the cusp of sleep, and will actively encourage you to keep laying on the cutesy talk as you’re gradually lulled to sleep. You might have to prepare to be on the receiving end of some teasing jabs the next day depending on what you said, all in good fun though~!

I match you with Mista!

Mista is going to brag about you every. Chance. He. GETS. It’s great that you’re so laid back and have a tendency to go with the flow - he’s got very much the same kind of attitude, so it’s the kind of personality that he really vibes with because he feels like you can appreciate the finer things in life when you’re not getting so caught up about the little unimportant things. He makes up for your initial hesitancy to be social, and breaks the ice by shooting his shot and making the first move. Of course it doesn’t end as well as he’d planned (with Narancia and Giorno butting in at one point because it’s too fun not to interject in the conversation and watch the potential shitshow that’s about to happen), but when you actually agree to hang out with him more often he’s ecstatic. And Mista’s even more chuffed when you start to open up, and that’s the point where he really starts to fall for you, because seeing what you’re like without those walls guarding you makes him feel like he’s really hitting it off, and he doesn’t want to miss his chance by dragging his ass and not at least trying to ask such a chill person out.

He has a lot of appreciation for the tattoos (he’s incredibly relieved when you tell him you’ve got five because it takes him a hot second to notice the birds because he swears he wasn’t looking). The first one that caught his eye was the birdcage on your wrist; the first time he laid eyes on it he practically snagged your wrist and craned his neck to look at all the little details, hemming and hawing the whole time like he’s trying to figure out the deep meaning behind them. It’s too cute not to laugh at, and you have to nudge him away before he breaks his neck trying to look at it from over your shoulder, shifting around so he can take a look at them all for himself. Given how much you enjoy drawing he always likes to jokingly ask you to design a tattoo for him, because he knows you’d do a good job at making something that he’d love. That idea quickly goes out the window however when Sex Pistols start interjecting, throwing in suggestions and wildly different opinion from all sides trying to get their own ideas added to the design too. You can’t help but chuckle at how fast he shuts down the idea when they show up, loudly declaring that no, he’s not getting a massive tattoo of 7’s back on his face for crying out loud!, all the while trying to corral them all into calming back down for five minutes at least.

Mista’s all for playing games, and loves taking you on dates to places that have arcades; he knows that you love them and he’s always up for the opportunity to show off so in his opinion it’s a win-win situation. You can tell that he’s trying to impress you when he makes a b-line for the nearest arcade shooter, making a dramatic show of swinging around the plastic guns a-la cowboy style before flashing you a wink and telling you to watch what he can do…after he remembers to put money in the machine to actually start the game. He’s up for movie nights too, though I hope that you enjoy extra commentary because while Mista himself is pretty quiet, there’s a chorus of voices crying out behind you at every jumpscare without fail. By the third time, Mista nearly tips the sofa back, one arm locked around your side while the other tries to sweep at the little stands watching from the sidelines (you end up creating a truce with the offer of popcorn, keeping the box safely in your lap as Sex Pistols dive in and out for their fill of food.

Even if the bullying is something that you insist is in the past, the moment that you feel comfortable enough to open up and talk about it he is pissed. On one hand his heart bleeds for the ridicule that you’ve had to go through, but another part of him is absolutely seething that some punks thought it was such a good idea to rip into you for something that 1. You can’t control, and 2. Has literally nothing to do with them. Mista ends up having to promise you that he won’t go find them and kick their asses, but it takes every fibre of his being not to ask his friends to in his stead (because of course they’d do anything for you too if he explained what was going on), which you can tell by the way that his fingers constantly twitch over his sheathed gun, as though fighting the urge to get a bit of payback for what those people put you through.

AAAAAA IM GLAD YOU’VE ENJOYED THESE STORIES. Dw I’m still kinda kicking some work based exams have just been taking up my life for the past year alongside some other stuff but I’ve been dying to come back! Just two more months and fingers crossed I’ll be free to post way more than atm!
