100% pure, Ylang ylang (Cananga odorata) Complete Essential Oil is an exquisite complete distillation. Grown in Madagascar and extracted from the flower by method of steam distillation. It is of therapeutic quality, pure & undiluted/unadulterated. It has a sweet, vanilla-rose aroma and blends well with most scents.
Ylang ylang is one of the few essential oils that is commonly distilled in fractions. The distillation process is stopped at several stages over a period of 12-15 hours. The essential oil produced at each stage is removed, then the distillation continues. This produces the various grades of Ylang Ylang (Extra, 1, 2, 3 and Complete). While the first extraction, Extra, is preferred by perfumers, Ylang Ylang Complete is produced by a full distillation and is the grade preferred by aromatherapists.
