This is your chance to highlight your exceptional work and share your successes with students, faculty, and staff from all of our QAS programs.

When and where?

What to expect

The Quarter at Aggie Square team will cover all costs for publishing the poster. Posters will be printed professionally and set-up at the event. Students will be able to take home their posters after the event.

Posters will be displayed throughout the room. Students who submit will not need to be by their posters during the celebration. We will provide time for people to engage with guests, share stories about their projects, and answer questions during the celebration.

QAS will host information and coaching sessions to support students in their poster design. Students do not need to attend a session to submit a poster.

Who will attend the gallery

The QAS End of the Year Celebration is a chance for students across our 2023-2024 experiences to learn the exciting achievements. Faculty, community members, staff and members from Undergraduate Education will be there to learn about all the inspiring work.

Creating your poster

The poster is an invitation to the audience to engage with you and your work. Here are some guidelines for creating your poster:

  • Utilize Canva to create your poster (UC Davis students have free access!)
  • Set the poster size: 18X24.
  • Intermix photos, graphics and text to create a visually engaging poster.
  • Include core core information (title, brief summary) about your project, experience or internship.
  • Include insights on what you learning from your project, experience or internship.

QAS will provide information and coaching sessions to help students complete their posters.

To share the design for review, click on the "Share Design” icon in the upper right corner of the Canva and add in Paul Terry (pdterry@ucdavis.edu) and Esther Nguyen (elenguyen@ucdavis.edu). If you need assistance, brainstorming, or logistical support, reach out to Paul for help with your creative ideas.

QAS will pay for printing costs and set them up at the ceremony.
