Where did they start
performing?
They started performing at “The Cavern Club”,
in Liverpool, The U.K. Then, in Hamburg,
Germany.
Beatlemania was the term used to
describe the intense admiration
showed by millions of fans to The
Beatles around the world during the
60’s, especially in the U.K. and the
U.S.A.

They performed live in concert from

Paul McCartney and George Harrison met
in High School when they were 11 years
old. Paul heard George playing the guitar
behind a bush and he was impressed.
Paul McCartney and John Lennon met at
the age of 15. John decided to form a band
in 1957, “The Quarrymen”. Then, Paul
joined the band. Later, it was called “The
Silver Beatles”. Finally, “The Beatles”.
Beatle is not an English word. It’s a mix of
the words “Beat” (rythm) and “Beetle”
(insect). John Lennon had a dream about
this name.

Richard Starky called himself Ringo Starr
because he used to wear lots of rings.
