Evangeline Lilly’s ‘Lost’ co-star calls anti-isolation stance ‘concerning’

Given that they were essentially isolated together on a fictitious mysterious island, it’s not surprising that Maggie Grace has come out against “Lost” co-star Evangeline Lilly’s anti-quarantine stance during the coronavirus pandemic.

Grace, 36, commented on Lilly’s controversial post to say she found it “concerning” and urged the 40-year-old to show more “compassion” to those not in picture-perfect health.

“Hey there, I read your pre-edit post and I find it concerning. There’s no need to panic, but at the same time this is about all of us- the vulnerable, the immunocompromised, older folks,” Grace wrote. “Sure, it’s a free country, but how about choosing to exercise some of that wonderful freedom to have some compassion, trust the extensive science here and not overwhelm [the] health system.”

Grace continued, “No doctor should have to choose which patients get life saving care and which patients get sent home to die- the sort of triage that is happening in Italy right now.”

The “Fear the Walking Dead” actress implored her to “think about” how her decisions affect her father, who Lilly had revealed was battling stage 4 leukemia.

“Think about how these small decisions effect [sic] your dad and those in your community as ventilators run out- and as you use your influence on such a large group of people,” Grace continued, alluding to the “Ant Man and the Wasp” actress’ 2.3 million Instagram followers.

“I say this with all humility, please rethink this,” she wrote as she wrapped up her comment, adding that Lilly’s kids would be “just fine” skipping gymnastics for a while. (Lilly noted in her anti-isolation announcement that she had dropped her kids off at gymnastics because it was “#businessasusual” for them.).

Grace ended her lengthy comment with a coup de grace, telling Lilly to check-in on their other “Lost” co-star, Daniel Dae Kim, who had tested positive for COVID-19.

“PS Daniel said he is doing a lot better btw. I don’t know, maybe you guys wanna chat?” Grace ended her note.

After announcing his diagnosis, 51-year-old Kim said the anti-malarial drug touted by President Trump was the “secret weapon” in his recovery from the coronavirus.

He further praised hydroxychloroquine, which his doctor prescribed, as being “critical” in the treatment that left him “practically back to normal” mere days after confirming he had been infected.

“Game of Thrones” star Sophie Turner also called out Lilly, telling her not to be “f–king stupid.”
