Brad Pitt plans to work more behind the camera instead of in front of it.

The 55-year-old actor, who appears in Quentin Tarantino’s highly anticipated upcoming film “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,” opened up about the changes Hollywood has been going through in light of the #MeToo movement, the rise of streaming services, mega franchises and more, and said he might be past his prime in terms of starring in classic screenplays.

“I’m behind the camera on the producing side and I enjoy that a lot,” Pitt told GQ Australia. “But I keep doing less and less. I really believe that overall it’s a younger man’s game – not that there aren’t substantial parts for older characters – I just feel, the game itself, it’ll move on naturally. There will be a natural selection to it all.

“But I’m curious to see what the future of film is, what shape it takes.”

Although some Hollywood icons such as Steven Spielberg have rejected streaming services in the entertainment sphere, Pitt said he’s a fan because they give more opportunities to new talent.

“I like to think there’s room for both,” Pitt said. “But I could be a dinosaur and not even know it, man. And the comet could be on the way.”
