‘Grey’s Anatomy’ star Kevin McKidd finalizes divorce

Grey’s Anatomy” actor Kevin McKidd and Jane Parker finalized their divorce on Dec. 22, over a year after revealing they had split, E! News confirmed Wednesday.

McKidd, 44, best known for portraying Dr. Owen Hunt on ABC’s long-running medical drama, and Parker announced their divorce in July 2016, despite initially splitting in October 2015. The couple share son Joseph, 17, and daughter Iona, 15.

“Kevin and Jane have jointly decided to end their marriage,” a rep for McKidd told E! News last year. “They look forward to continuing to co-parent their children, who have been their top priority, and will to continue to enjoy a close and caring relationship.”

McKidd and Parker will share joint legal custody of the children, with the Scottish actor paying $22,440 per month in child support. He will also cover the expenses of private school and summer camp. McKidd is also required to pay $65,096 in monthly spousal support, in addition to 20 percent of any income received in excess of $3 million per year, according to the outlet.

With a “nesting agreement” in place, in which the children will reside at the family’s Los Angeles home, both McKidd and Parker will take turns staying with them. Each will keep a residence, sharing ownership of their third property in Malibu.

In terms of future child support installments, McKidd will cease to pay the $22,440 monthly fee once his children turn 18. However, he will owe Parker $12,147 per month for four years.

A rep for McKidd did not immediately return a request for comment.
