Will return.
Pretty surprise to find an Asian restaurant for the Chinese lunar new year eve it's when families all gather together to have a huge hearty meal, like the Thanksgiving in the USA.
Although this small airport SDU at Bossa Nova mall isn't far from our airport. But it doesn't seem to be walkable. So we took Uber.
The view out to the Enseada da Gloria is beautiful, especially at sunset. The restaurant is huge, with many sections.
We got there at 6:50, must be too early, the restaurant was empty. We sat near the bar, as the sun went down.
The service is good. We've The ox rib and spicy tuna. The big chunk of ox rib is tender but salty. The mushroom rice isn't fully cooked, and they added some cream. Please pretty please, don't mess with my rice, just fully cook it with water. (Guess this is hard ...). The tuna isn't fresh. The rice they used is better than the side, the mushroom rice.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Dec 19, 2020
Come here for the wonderful view, the quality drinks, and sexy ambiance. Come at sunset, when the view is unbeatable, overlooking Guanabara Bay. The restaurant is so well-designed, the perfect balance of classy and sexy. Lots of black, mirrors, and dim lighting, combined with floor-to-ceiling windows and greenery. The entrance has a fish pond with carp. The open kitchen allows you to see the chefs at work. We enjoyed first sitting on the open-air deck and taking photos.
I had the caipichamp (a champagne cocktail with pineapple and lemon grass) and LOVED it. We also had the passion fruit caipirinha and lychee caipisake (like a capirinha but made with sake).
The food was better than I expected given descriptions of this place as an "Asian lounge" (which tends to make me think of overpriced and uncreative Asian fusion). We had the octopus sashimi, salmon tataki (both were very fresh), scallop sushi, and crab dumplings (enjoyed these - very creative, with a coconut-based filling).Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Olavo L.Toronto, Canada63257913Nov 30, 2021
This restaurant is very sophisticated. From the ambience with a breathtaking view of Rio to the menu with an Asian fusion cuisine and its service, everything is well thought out and well prepared. Great place for an especial occasion

The service was really good and the food was tasty. It's a bit dark inside but the seating options are really nice. Our worked with us as we only speak English and it was great. Only weird thing was that they charged us for takeaway.

Great food and view! Would recommend visiting gm this place if you are in Rio. It's next to the mall and domestic airport. Enjoy
