because of the big ass building that is always our base

We shop at Ingles several days each week for our non- profit ministry. The cashiers and bagging assistance employees could not be nicer. They are so friendly and helpful and even help load our ministry truck. Ingles carries the bulk sizes we need and always has the items we buy fully stocked. Excellent customer service!

Self checkout is useless. You'll find yourself just looking around for someone when the machine asks you to "wait for an attendant". Most of the time Junior is at another register talking to someone else while no one is there to push the button to let you scan the next item.

This evening was the last straw. I went through the self checkout to avoid the line and there wasn't anyone around to assist. Even management will cause a problem by distracting these kids that apparently can't talk and deal with the register at the same time. The very first item I had scanned threw up this "error" and I asked for assistance but was ignored for 5 minutes straight until I just walked out.

I hope they had fun restocking the stuff I left at the self checkout.

I love this Ingles! All the employees are so helpful and cheerful. They have upgraded their training, I can tell. The store is immaculate, the produce is so fresh and reasonably priced and the store managers are the best anywhere. They have an outstanding vegetarian selection, better than any store in this city, which is so helpful for me and my family. They have good deals through out the store. This is close to my house so I am there frequently. Everyone has always been friendly and nice. The store is clean. The meats are always good. I love to shop there!
