Jakks Pacific’s costume division Disguise is bringing some high-speed flair to costume racks this year through a new deal with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products. Disguise has secured the rights to make a collection of costumes based on WBD’s animated preschool series, Batwheels

As part of the agreement, Disguise will design and manufacture a range of costumes and wearable vehicles for preschoolers depicting the show’s characters, including Bam the Batmobile, Batman and Batgirl. The products will roll out to retailers and e-commerce sites across North America, the UK, Australia, New Zealand and LatAm in time for the Halloween season this fall.

WBD launched the Batwheels series (40 x 15 minutes) globally last year on its streaming service Max, as well as on Cartoon Network’s Cartoonito preschool block. While airing, it ranked as the most-watched preschool series on Max, especially with boys ages two to five, according to WBD.

The IP’s consumer products program is really shifting into high gear. WBD renewed its toy licensing deal with Mattel in July, and the company’s Fisher-Price division is manufacturing a Batwheels line for preschoolers that features light-up vehicles, diecast cars and transport accessories. WBD’s consumer products team also launched ready-to-print Batwheels apparel designs for fashion retailers last year.
