St Julians, Mercury Towers

Description

The design of this project was awarded to internationally-renowned ZAHA HADID Architects, but it is also one of the last projects signed off by Zaha Hadid personally. The iconic design of this skyscraper blends the historical architecture of the 19th century Mercury House with a modern 33-storey tower having a mid-height twist that is the work of true architectural genius. The building houses 256 state-of-the-art residences with a horizon swimming pool, enjoying spectacular open views with the option of having these managed by Melia Hotels.

The entire project is mixed-use based  and includes a boutique hotel, a lovely open piazza surrounded by coffee shops and shopping outlets, offices and residential units enjoying magnificent vistas, as well as a large 400-space public car park. Mercury Towers is undeniably one of Malta’s most sought-after addresses.

Special Designated Area Status

Mercury Towers enjoy Special Designated Area status, meaning that foreign investors, whether they are EU or Non-EU, can purchase as many units as they want without the need for an AIP (Acquisition of Immovable Property) permit. Due to this special status, the units can also be rented out immediately without any restrictions.
