Jerboa Skull #00228

This is the skull of a jerboa!

Jerboas are a family of jumping desert rodents native to North Africa and Asia. With their long hind legs and tails, they resemble miniature kangaroos. Jerboa skulls are rare in collections.
This is a great vintage example with all teeth. Originally from Maxilla and Mandible, it was sourced from an old collection. The exact species is unknown, but it is probably Jaculus orientalis, the greater Egyptian jerboa. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
