This Ford Model A got away, but there are more like it here.

This Ford Model A hot rod was built between July 2011 and January 2014 and features a steel Sport Coupe body on 1932 Ford frame rails. Power is provided by a 24-stud flathead V8, which has been rebuilt and is backed by a 3-speed manual transmission. The interior was refurbished with brown tuck-and-roll upholstery, and other equipment includes a Deuce grille, dual Stromberg carburetors, hydraulic brakes, Firestone tires, and a rebuilt 1932 Ford steering box. This Model A hot rod has been driven 5k miles since the build was completed, and it was acquired by the seller a year ago. Recent maintenance included a fluid change and a new battery. The car is titled in California as a 1929 Ford.

Finished in tan with a black fabric top, the steel Sport Coupe body was chopped and received a bare-metal repaint during the build as pictured in the gallery. A windshield sun visor and a 1932 Ford grille have also been installed. The color-matched Deuce rails are from American Stamping Corporation and were set up by Anthony Castaneda of Loco Moto in Anaheim, California with a Model A front crossmember and an X-brace center crossmember.

The seller added 500 miles over the past year, and approximately 5k miles have been covered since the completion of the build.
