Fine in very good original slipcase.. 16mo. 4 x 6.25 in. xxxvi, 1980 pp. + 63 (music), 34 (feasts), [1], [5 blanks] pp. The 'Student's Edition' was an enlargement of the original 1924 St. Andrew Missal in English, which became so popular that the publishers incorporated the additional content into their regular editions. This is the 1927 second, revised edition of the 'Student's Edition'. Full black cloth, titled in gilt on spine, with Constantine's labarum stamped in blind on upper cover; decorative endpapers. Presented in publisher's collapsible cloth slipcase. A superlative copy of this very scarce early 'Student's Edition', with layman's ephemera laid in. Binding fresh, text crisp.
