What I have realised is that if it is a Virtual machine and it is copied, the Hardware Fingerprint will change. As it will then change the Network ID etc. If you say i MOVED it, it will keep those settings and there should not be an issue. 

I have come across the Hardware Fingerprint Changing by the following:

1. RAM added to the server / PC

2. Network Card replaced / changed

One thing i would say is backup / take a copy of the Hardware fingerprint file located under C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\Server,  in case something changes within the server after adding additional hardware so you are then able to deactivate and reactivate quickly.
