COLUMBUS, Ohio — A new study says that the Buckeye State is one of the easiest in the nation to get a driver's license. That's according to the law firm Siegfried and Jensen's newest study.
The law firm ranked driving tests in every state and the District of Columbia. They took into consideration things like the handbooks, the number of questions on each test, and how many maneuvers were required in the skills portion.
In total, Ohio received 45 out of 100 on the firm's difficulty score. That score puts the Buckeye State at No. 50 on the list in terms of difficult. Only South Dakota is lower.
The study also shows that at $7, Ohio's one of the cheapest states to get a driver's license.
Siegfried and Jensen's study says Washington is the hardest state to get a driver's license.
