Cave of the Cat

The Cueva del Gato is one entrance to a large system of caves under the limestone mountains between Ronda, Benaojan and Montejaque. The system stretches for close to 5km underground and is recommended for experienced cavers only. A permit is required to enter the cave system.

  • The Google terrain maps show the Cave as being further away from the river and railway line, however on the satellite imagery the box marks the actual entrance.
